About the Role: The Lead Esthetician is a licensed professional who combines service excellence with leadership responsibilities, delivering Glowbar's 30-minute facial while also serving as a coach, mentor, and manager within the studio. They create treatment plans, drive repeat client relationships, and inspire membership growth through consistent, results-driven service. In addition to service delivery, Lead Estheticians dedicate 1 day per week to leadership and administrative duties. These include training and onboarding new hires, leading continued education, shadowing treatments, giving performance feedback, and managing operational tasks such as inventory. They work closely with the Studio Manager to support studio growth and ensure team performance meets Glowbar's high standards. As a visible leader, the Lead Esthetician models strict adherence to time and attendance and helps the team uphold the same accountability. By blending technical expertise with coaching and business acumen, Lead Estheticians elevate both client experience and team success, making them an essential part of studio leadership. A Peek Into Your Day: Arrive early and prepared for every shift, setting the tone of professionalism and excellence for the team. Deliver Glowbar's signature 30-minute facial with consistency, precision, and best-in-class hospitality. Serve as an on-shift leader (e.g MOD), providing coaching, feedback, and mentorship to estheticians while ensuring service standards are met. Onboard and support new hires, conducting training, treatment shadowing, and performance evaluations in partnership with the Studio Manager. Lead continued education for the studio, including receiving and observing treatments from new hires and team members to gauge performance, and providing structured weekly feedback to Studio Management in alignment with our Glowbar Training modules. May include occasional travel when needed. Dedicate time each week to administrative responsibilities, including performance feedback, operational oversight, and inventory management. Ensure correct Glowbar product usage and communicate replenishment needs promptly. Partner with the Studio Manager to identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance service delivery, and support studio revenue growth. Lead by example in sanitation and cleanliness, maintaining immaculate treatment rooms and supporting overall studio upkeep. Step into the role of Studio Guide when needed, assisting at the front desk to ensure a seamless client experience. Embody the role of Glowbar ambassador, setting the standard in professionalism, presentation, and skincare expertise.
