As a member of our backup care team, you have the ultimate flexibility of schedule. As a matter of fact, we never tell you when, how often or WHERE you need to work.
You also choose the ages of children you want to care for.
You choose the jobs and schedule that works for you. You could work part time, full time, weekends only or a combination thereof based on your availability. We only ask that you take ONE job per month. And there is no cap on the number of hours you can work (we pay overtime rate per WA state law)!

This is also a child focused position. That means that your job is to ensure the children in your care are SAFE, engaged, supervised, fed, kept clean and nurtured. You will not be responsible for household tasks other than picking up after the kids and yourself.

Location: Though we service several areas around the Puget Sound, our biggest need is for nannies able to work in and around Seattle and the East Side
Start Date: We are looking for nannies immediately!
Job choice: You choose the jobs that work for you \- from the days\/hours, to location to ages and number of kids.
Children: The children we are trusted to care for range in age from newborn to teen. And we have a strict 4:1 child to adult ratio (meaning you will never be in charge of more than 4 children at a time).
Hours: You choose! We have shifts available to fit every schedule (weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings and everything in between). Because you are in charge of your own schedule, you also never have to ask to take time off! Want to go on vacation and be gone for 2 weeks \- great! Just don't schedule yourself for the dates you will be gone. It's a simple as that.
Compensation: $25\/hr (you will be hired as a W2 employee by Sound Care Agency) with unlimited overtime at $37.50\/hr. We do have a small percentage of our jobs that pay $28\/hr and offer those on a first come, first served basis.
Duration: We are looking for nannies that can commit to us for at least 3 months and hopefully well beyond.
Experience: Our nannies must have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience. We work with nannies that can not only meet the physical needs of the kids in their care (carrying them, changing diapers, feeding, putting then down for naps\/sleep, walking up and down stairs), but who come to the table with ideas on creative ways to engage with children.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Independently evaluate patients for the purpose of determining a differential, psychiatric diagnosis, and biopsychosocial case formulation.
Assess patients for psychiatric/psychotropic medication necessity.
Prescribe the psychiatric or psychotropic medications, which are within his/her licensing purview.
Coordinate with program manager in assigned programs to facilitate integration of medical issues with overall treatment planning
Screen patients for concurrent non-psychiatric medical conditions and refer for appropriate care.
Order all appropriate laboratory tests to determine a differential diagnosis and assure safe prescription of medications.
Assess for medication side effects and treat when appropriate, following guidelines set by accepted professional standards and any other applicable standards of care.
Consult with the treatment teams or other agency and non-agency providers on issues related to an individual patient's treatment and overall treatment planning. Liaison with primary care physicians and their staff.
Attend and participate in medical staff meetings, as required.
Obtain supervision, consultation or guidance by an agency psychiatrist or the medical director in cases as needed.
Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency policy.
Perform other functions, e.g. teaching, supervision of nursing staff and students, inter- and interagency committee responsibilities, as assigned. These responsibilities may include the provision of group staff consultations without the presence of a staff psychiatrist.
Understand recovery concepts in behavioral health.
Apply recovery concepts, as appropriate to clinical work at Sound.

Child and family services (CFS) programs at Sound provide a wide variety of high-quality and evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, young adults, caregivers, and families to address depression, anxiety, trauma impact, and behavior management. Youth peer partners work alongside professional team members to provide a living example of hope that recovery is possible for others living with disorders. Peers' personal experiences can be a valuable asset to the clinical team. Their first-person knowledge and their stories of recovery enhance and extend services, as well as infuse clients with hope and self-determination.
This person will provide flexible services that are customized to the needs of the client and that allow the peer to act as a role model of recovery. Youth partners assist professional team members in the delivery of conventional health services and a service model built on principles of mutuality, empowerment, and informality.
Location: This role supports clients who call the Eastside home and is based out of our Bel-Red Clinic. (This role requires regular travel throughout the Eastside, including but not limited to

Scheduling: This team member will provide mobile services throughout King County and flexible work hours, including some nights and weekends. The youth partner will understand, support, and accommodate the diverse perspectives and needs of different cultures and communities in the county.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Supervisor is responsible for clinical and administrative supervision of the program, under the direction of the Program Manager. Provides clinical supervision to team members and interns. Conduct team member performance evaluations in conjunction with the Program Manager, and as per organization standards and timelines.
Provide clinical and administrative coverage for the program in the absence of the Program manager.

Provides all required case management services, including admission, WAC required reports, continued stay, and discharge plans.
Responsible for collecting various samples, such as urine, saliva, breathe alcohol, or other specimens for duties such as interacting with donors, conducting drug testing, handling cases, updating case status, and processing and shipping specimens.
Prepares necessary reports, summaries and progress notes, and incorporates into clinical records.

Monitors medication regimes and treatment compliance.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS

Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field (MSW, MS, MA).
Required WAC-approved Clinical Supervisor.
5 plus years of experience managing, supervising, or leading within a clinic setting.

Has an advanced level of understanding of the concepts of individual and Group therapy evidence-based practices to provide services.

Interns at Sound can expect to work with a culturally diverse, multi-problem clientele. Most clients assigned to interns are publicly funded (e.g., Medicaid) or low, very low income. Interns gain experience in clinical documentation, diagnosis, treatment plans and progress/discharge notes. Case management and counseling services may be a part of the treatment provided. Interns will gain some knowledge of the network of agencies. A team approach is used within the agency and in collaborating with other agencies and systems, depending on the needs of each case. Intern supervisor will provide clinical supervision, meeting individually with the intern at least one hour per week and other times as needed. Interns participate in team meetings and clinical consultation groups.

Responsibilities
GENERAL SUMMARY
The clinician in this role is responsible for providing a range of intensive outpatient services to a small cohort group of the following population: older adolescents aged 18 to 25 and adult mental health clients. Intensive case management services with outreach and engagement services are required.
Interventions may be time limited or longer term, and will be part of an outcome-oriented treatment plan developed with in a managed care framework, which includes periodic reviews for appropriateness of services and intensity. The individual in this Job will participate actively in the treatment planning and review process, including supporting documentation of the clinical services performed.
The individual in this Job will be required to work with primary care physicians, DCFS, and inpatient facilities, mental health residential facilities, and other adult servicing agencies to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for clients with significant mental health problems in the community.
Case management includes coordination and consultation with other service providers and community resources, and referrals to facilitate meeting the clients' needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Provides direct services and/or internal and external organization referrals for clients.
Develops treatment plans and maintains accurate and timely clinical records according to organization policy.
Performs outreaches/services to community locations to engage clients in care.
To comply with County and State standards there will be service intensity expectations.
Prepares necessary reports, summaries and progress notes, and incorporates into clinical records.
Performs consultations and liaison duties with other agencies and resources on behalf of the client.

Monitors medication regimes and treatment compliance.
