South Bay Circuits company history timeline
South Bay Circuits (SBC) founded in 1981 by current owner & CEO, Roland Satterlee, has developed into the Electronics Industry's most dynamic and diverse PC Board Fab and PC Board Assembly “Single Source Solution” Contract Manufacturer.
In 1985 SBC expanded operations adding a 60,000 square foot PC Board Fabrication facility in San Jose California.
1987 brought the addition of 3 additional buildings, continuing the expansion of capacity at SBC.
Throughout the 1990’s SBC continued as the industry leader in quality performance receiving multiple Industry “Service Excellence Awards”.
The 1990’s brought continued growth in operations and technology.
With the bringing on of this expanded capacity SBC consolidated its Assembly and Back Panel Division from San Jose to Chandler in 2003.
In 2004 remaining SBC operations were transferred to Chandler Arizona.
SBC is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company through UL-DQS. South Bay Circuits utilizes ISO 9001:2015 eight fundamental quality management principles to help improve our PC Board Fab, PC Assembly, and Box Build performance.
