Position Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitors loan performance by maintaining contact with borrowers, monitoring the financial condition of borrowers and resolving problems and when appropriate waiving a request for financial statements according to established policies, procedures and regulations in an accurate and timely manner to reduce risk the Bank might incur from collateral deterioration or borrowers' inability to pay.
Prepares loan documents that are in compliance with bank regulations for presentation, presents loans that are above the incumbent's lending limit to the loan committee or officer with higher lending limits communicating all elements of the loan to ensure compliance with regulations and to enhance the ability to make sound credit decisions.
Promotes the Bank's image in the community by participating in community activities, coordinating community development efforts, promoting involvement and participation in community service organizations to assist in compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act, presents a favorable image in the community and establishes contacts that could generate new business.
Develops and maintains an adequate level of knowledge in Commercial Banking, general banking and business development matters and demonstrates personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgment, communication and initiative with customers and employees to ensure an acceptable degree of performance.
Implements all compliance policies and procedures within the department and ensures the department staff receives adequate regulatory compliance training to perform job functions in compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, follows corporate Compliance policies and procedures and cooperates fully with all internal and external compliance reviews and examinations.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Monitor state insurance departments and regulations for updates/changes to licensing requirements and/or and procedures.

Apply for credit insurance license for new branch locations and assist in resolving issues that arise in background checks.
Serve as the go-to liaison between employees and state licensing departments and provide assistance in resolving issues related to background checks.
Review GAP contracts submitted by PFS branches and prepare the remittance reports as well as forward contracts and remittances to the insurer.
Manage claim submissions and processing for assumed insurance from reviewing claims submitted by customers to ensuring claims are complete and submitted to the correct insurance companies.
Retrieve the report of claims paid then forward and/or maintain all information as required to reconcile claim payments.
Prepare and remit monthly credit insurance premiums to insurers and reinsured companies.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Responsibilities
Originate all types of 1-4 family residential loans
Maintain written goals that are created in conjunction with the Mortgage Banking Department
Coordinate loan production throughout assigned service area
Maintain prescribed system status report of all loan cases in process
Report monthly on the calls made to banks, realtors, and builders
Communicate with the Mortgage Banking department in order to clarify program changes or updates to branch personnel throughout assigned service area
Counsel and communicate with the prospective borrower for the purpose of determining what loan products would be applicable
Schedule appointments to take applications at a location (home, branch office, or work location) convenient to the customer, and work with the customer in the completion of an accurate application and acquisition of supporting documentation
Gather additional information required for the closing of the mortgage which is requested by the Mortgage Banking Department in a timely manner and maintain a status report of all loans in process
Assist customer with closing contingencies
Prepare Good Faith Estimate and Truth-In-Lending within 72 hours from date of application on all applications taken
Provide the Realtor (if applicable) with a weekly written review on the progress of the loan
Educate and update branch personnel throughout immediate service area on identification of conforming loan requirements and how to answer customer inquiries
Establish rapport with the local real estate community and update regularly on programs available by calling on realtors, builders, and attorneys that have an existing relationship with Renasant Bank for the solicitation of the origination of mortgage loans and to determine product needs and coordinate these needs with supervisor
Survey local market areas regularly
Establish priority accounts (realtors, builders, title companies, etc.) and visit respective offices at least once a week
Conduct seminars for local realtors and new associates on different aspects of lending; i.e., conventional, FHA/VA, ARM's, CRA)
Become active in local affiliations relative to mortgage loan production; i.e., Board of Realtors, Home Builders Association
Perform all duties in compliance with state and federal regulations and internal policies and procedures as is applicable to the responsibilities of the position
Attend production meetings as designated by management
Maintain licenses and certifications, if applicable
Work independently in an outside sales setting which requires reliable transportation
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to originate 1-4 family residential mortgage products
Thorough knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA, FHA, VA, and other general mortgage banking lending procedures and requirements
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to deal cordially with the public
Ability to organize time effectively
Ability to learn and comprehend regulatory directives and procedures in a short period of time
Ability to represent Renasant Bank in a professional manner projecting the image of "Customer Focused Banking"
Ability to work independently and make decisions following state and federal regulatory guidelines
Must have a reliable means of transportation to facilitate responsibilities

The Client Specialist role supports the line of business by providing exceptional service and operational support to associates and clients. This role is responsible for managing client requests, facilitating account operations, and ensuring the accuracy and completion of documentation and transactions. The Client Specialist acts as a liaison between clients, associates, and internal partners to deliver a seamless client experience and support growth initiatives. This role places emphasis on relationship management and serving needs for teams and their portfolio of clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Open new accounts and ensure complete, accurate documentation is obtained from clients
Collect and review entity due diligence, Know Your Customer (KYC), and beneficial ownership information to satisfy compliance requirements
Image and index all deposit and client documentation to ensure proper recordkeeping
Perform account maintenance, including adding/removing signers and updating client records
Respond to client inquiries regarding bank products, services, account details, and policies, conduct account research, file and process fraud claims
Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities, recommending additional bank products and services that align with clients' operational needs
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of banking systems, internal processes, tools and resources available to associates, and controls designed to protect the bank and our clients
Research and resolve exceptions in required documentation; loan, collateral and deposit exceptions, assist with past dues
Provide loan support to relationship teams, collection of payments and fees, processing advances on lines of credit
Demonstrate knowledge of the loan documentation process, including the ability to identify and differentiate internal loan documents, as well as an understanding of attorney-prepared documentation
Collaborate with Loan Operations, Treasury Management and Deposit Operations to ensure ongoing, satisfactory monitoring of lending, depository and Treasury Management services for clients
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
