Administrative: 2 hours per week: following up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting Commissions as a New Agent This position is a commission-only based sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family you protect. Our expectation is that a full-time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also have a selection of premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their current retirement accounts (e.g. 401k's and IRA's) from losing money in the stock market. We have extensive training on how these products work and how to sell them. In addition to uncapped commission, we have a competitive bonus structure program along with incentive trips agents/managers can qualify for based on their individual and team results. Georgia Legal Services seeks a Domestic Violence staff attorney to work in its Dalton Regional office. The Dalton Office serves 6 counties in Northwest Georgia and is located about 20 minutes south of Chattanooga and 88 miles north of Atlanta. This is a grant-funded position that will provide holistic legal representation in civil matters to victims of domestic violence in protective order, divorce, custody, benefits, and housing cases. Primary Responsibilities: · Litigate cases in administrative, state and federal forums. · Draft briefs, motions and memoranda. · Conduct community legal education sessions and engage in outreach activities. · Participate on action teams that explore and solve systemic issues affecting clients. · Collaborate with domestic violence shelters to provide legal services to victims of domestic violence. · Participate in domestic violence task force meetings.
