South Coast Radiology company history timeline
Radiologist Dr David Jones opened the practice that would become South Coast Radiology at 125 Nerang Street, Southport in 1967.
Since 1967, South Coast Radiology has evolved to become the largest radiology group on the Gold Coast, and one of the largest and longstanding radiology organisations in South East Queensland.
South Coast Radiology have been servicing patients at Pindara Private Hospital for almost 20 years, and John Flynn Private Hospital since their opening in 1993, and provide both inpatients and outpatients with comprehensive on-call radiology services 24/7, 365 days a year.
As a testament to the company’s commitment to women’s imaging, in 2011 South Coast Radiology founded a dedicated practice for women’s imaging in Southport.
