The PRN must be able to dispense medications in the mornings, starting at 6 AM. The RN must also be able to work some Saturday mornings. Responsibilities Nurse is responsible for the safe and the efficient dispensing and administering of Methadone to opioid dependent clients. Dispenses methadone dose to patients and observe ingesting of dose on-site. Monitors patients physical and mental status while dispensing. Monitors patients urine collection, to ensure proper specimen has been obtained. Prepare urine specimens for shipment to outside lab. Documentation of medical and clinical records and observations, records keeping regarding Methadone inventory and control. Works in close coordination with other treatment team members. Participates in Staff Trainings and Clinical Staffing as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by Program Director and MDs Interested candidates should have a strong interest in working in substance abuse field, be a team player, be organized, and have a strong interpersonal communication skills and be dependable.
