Summary:
The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients for the procedure, position patients with considerations for safety and image accuracy, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
Essential Work Functions:
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital's system
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

The Safety and Environmental Director will maintain business compliance with all safety and environmental requirements at both Kovalchick Corp (Homer City, PA) and Franklin Industries (Franklin, PA). He/she will also work to minimize injury rates for all departments at both locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee prompt investigation of all incidents at both plants and ensure timely submission of applicable incident paperwork.
Maintain thorough incident investigation records including photographs, witness statements, duty status reports, etc. for both facilities.
Maintain incident metrics for recordable, first-aid, and near-miss incidents broken down by location, length of employment, transfer, body part affected, and day of incident. These metrics shall be used to identify incident trends.
Manage and maintain the Safety Skills Matrix tracking employee training paperwork and status at both locations.
Maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Inventory for both facilities and update as necessary.
Communicate with worker's compensation provider and broker to discuss possible corrective actions as well as key incident details.
Facilitate Return to Work Program at both sites.
Coordinate monthly safety training with Worker's Compensation Broker focused on employees with less than one calendar year of experience at each facility.

Conduct routine inspections and/or calibration of plant safety equipment including alloy steel chains, Altair 4x multi-gas monitors, PFAs, etc. at both sites.
Utilize the CMMS system to track past-due work orders and LOTO equipment that does not have a waiver granted at either facility.
Abide by all necessary safety laws and standards.
Work to minimize workplace injury rates at both locations.
Put out safety information and toolbox talks across both facilities.

Watch and enforce safety at both locations.
Establish and maintain continuous improvement (2 Second Lean), problem solving (KATA technique), and Root Cause Analysis at both sites.

Sales & Business Development
* Collaborate with EMD sales representatives to achieve annual Power Management sales growth targets.
* Identify, evaluate, and recommend new opportunities within the Power Management market, focusing on strategic development and market penetration.
* Lead the business development and capture strategy for key prospects, aligning resources and actions to maximize win potential.
* Maintain awareness of competitor strategies, pricing trends, and market activity; follow up on wins and losses to assess competitive positioning.
Proposal & Contract Management
* Direct and coordinate proposal efforts, including developing win plans, managing proposal budgets, and ensuring high-quality submissions.
* Lead teaming and pricing strategy development; facilitate proposal and pricing reviews with functional leaders and senior management.
* Support negotiation of fees, terms, and contracts with customers, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and approvals.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
* Conduct research on current and emerging Power Management markets to inform business strategy and product/service development.
* Recommend new services, capabilities, or markets for IPS to pursue based on data-driven insights and customer demand.
* Maintain active engagement with key industry associations, partners, and stakeholders to promote IPS's capabilities and reputation.
Collaboration & Relationship Management
* Partner with IPS managers and executives to strengthen customer and prospect relationships.
* Provide technical support and guidance to EMD sellers and customers throughout the sales process.
* Serve as an IPS ambassador, maintaining an active and visible presence in the Power Management industry.
Qualifications and Competencies:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Business, or related field preferred.
* 7+ years of experience in power management, electrical systems, or industrial services sales; prior business development or technical sales experience strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated success in consultative selling and market development.
* Deep understanding of power management systems, including switchgear, transformers, generators, and controls.
* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
* Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Tutors are temporary, part-time positions that will begin each semester on a continual basis.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Tutoring, tutors are dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence. They work with students one-on-one and in small groups to help them to become confident, independent learners. Tutors assist students by clarifying course content and offering study skills, test taking strategies, and general encouragement and support. Work hours will vary and are not guaranteed. Transcripts are required for those who earned a degree from a college/university other than Butler County Community College.
Peer tutors must have completed at least 12 credit hours of undergraduate course work, 9 credits of which must be in non-developmental or non-preparatory courses. They also must have a minimum G.P.A. of 2.8 and a final grade of A or B in the course(s) they wish to tutor. Associate Tutors have an associate's degree or 76 or more credit hours. Professional Tutors are those with a bachelor's degree or above.

They regulate the air pressure in control valves or devices at specified flow rates. The technician also has to report any hazardous work situation, such as faulty meters or systemic failures. Valve technicians will be responsible for connecting regulators to test stands and adjusting screws until the gauges indicate inlet/outlet pressure in compliance with established standards. Valve technicians should be able to use applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to create service reports and communicate with senior officials regarding test results, usage of material resources and recorded repairs.
Essential Duties
Perform the disassembly and repair of mechanical control devices like valves and actuators such as thermostats, hydrants and regulators with the use of hand tools and power tools.
Monitor and keep track of meter readings and installation data on meter cards, work orders, or field service orders, or enter data into hand-held device for generating service reports.
Make an assessment of individual components of the control valves or mechanical control device parts for defects, dents, or malfunctioning areas and bring to supervisor's notice for urgent action.
Measure tolerances of assembled parts of valves and actuators, for compliance with standards and regulations, using tools like gauges and calipers.
Install and run tests on electric meters and power sources to monitor and detect possible causes of malfunctions, with the use of hand tools and other testing equipment
