The Stan/Eval Support position will support Combat Air Forces (CAF) Fighter Squadron (FS), USAF Warfare Center (USAFWC), and Air Support Operations Squadrons (ASOS) in Air Combat Command (ACC). The trained transcriber will use software on laptop computers to listen to class lectures and rapidly record the information in complete English sentences. Students simultaneously read and respond to the transcripts. The transcriber may also voice the comments and questions posed by students. Duties and responsibilities include: transcribing material from spoken lectures and discussions, locating documents, rapidly setting up and breaking down computer equipment, emailing documents, and operating peripheral equipment (printers, desktop computers, copiers, etc.).
