Required Dates: 02/16/2026-06/12/2026 This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park Center, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 150,000 guests annually. Participants of the Elevate Gap Program are employed with either housekeeping or food service and participate in weekly “Elevate Days,” or experiential learning days, led by our facilitators. It is also the responsibility of the facilitators to plan and execute extracurricular activities for program participants outside of their scheduled Elevate Days. The facilitator must be able to safely and efficiently plan, prepare for, and lead backpacking and camping trips, day hikes, outdoor education classes, and other outdoor activities for participants. This position is tasked with directing the flow of traffic on the course, encouraging facility rules, assisting customers when needed, alerting management to any golf course problems, and promoting the facility. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of Hudson Gardens while providing enjoyable, educational and memorable experiences for all visitors. There are gardening volunteer opportunities in the Colorado, Rose and Water gardens. Volunteer opportunities are also available providing customer service and assisting staff in the Welcome Center/Gift Shop, and events such as outdoor concerts, holiday events and privately scheduled events. Volunteer, War Memorial Rose Garden, Littleton Volunteering is an incredibly rewarding way to give back to the community and a way to spend your time enriching the lives of others. Rose Garden volunteers participate at least twice per month in the following areas to help manage the beauty and integrity of the Rose Garden: Rose pruning, fertilizing, general weeding, and beetling. ALL supplies and training are provided on site. Selection of these areas may depend on volunteer interest, schedule availability, and the ability to learn the duties. VOLUNTEER Learn to Play Hockey Volunteer Family Sports Center | Sports Complex Do you love hockey and want to give back to your community and/or gain experience in assisting the instructors of the Learn to Play Program? The Learn To Play Hockey Volunteer is responsible for assisting the on ice instructor during ice classes for all levels and providing a fun and safe environment for participants ages 4 to 17 years old.
