They work under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist to provide excellent service. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES Prepare, deliver, and restock medications Perform order entry Procure drugs Bill prescriptions Assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications JOB SUMMARY As a board-certified oral maxillofacial surgeon, focus on treating conditions, defects, injuries, and aesthetics of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face, with a specific emphasis on serving underserved populations. This would involve performing surgical procedures, diagnosing oral and maxillofacial issues, providing preventive care, and educating patients on oral health. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES Key Responsibilities: Performing oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including tooth extractions and other surgical procedures related to the mouth, teeth, and jaws within the scope of a board certified oral maxillofacial surgeon. Examining patients, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic tools to determine the nature of oral health conditions and developing treatment plans. Providing preventive dental services and educating patients on oral hygiene and dental health maintenance. Administering anesthesia for procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Advising patients on oral health conditions compassionately and with cultural competence. Working with other healthcare professionals, such as general dentists, medical doctors, and specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care. Qualifications JOB SUMMARY The Medical Assistant carries out orders for patient care as directed by the Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners. The Medical Assistant follows prescribed clinical workflows and participates in clinical and/or administrative tasks. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES 1. Conducts chart prep for each patient daily and participates in daily huddles with the provider. Serves as a patient experience advocate by being a positive influence at all times when interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues; communicates with all patients, visitors, and colleagues in a professional manner while keeping customer service a top priority. 2. Greets and shows patients to exam room and prepares patient for visit with provider; follows SOP for documentation in the e-HR and Standing Orders appropriate to the visit type Prepares patients for exam by measuring vital signs, reviewing screening questionnaires and accurately records information in patient chart. Addresses or alerts provider of concerns Reviews and updates current medication list, problem list, patient medical history, surgical history, and family history, making changes as needed. Addresses or alerts provider of concerns Follows established standards and protocols 3. Administers injections and medications as prescribed by the provider and in accordance with protocol, regulatory requirements, and standards of practice. 4. Prepares and assists providers with various procedures exams as designated by the provider 5. Implements standing orders. 6. Performs various tests upon the request of the provider, including but not limited to: phlebotomy, hearing tests, EKGs, breathing treatments, and vision tests. 7. Collects blood or other laboratory specimens and prepares them for further testing. 8. Participates in test tracking and monitors overdue results. 9. Administers the in-box to ensure patient communication and follow-up is completed and Clinician time is used wisely. 10. Assures exam rooms are adequately supplied and cleaned after each patient visit; maintains and cleans medical instruments and equipment after each procedure. 11. Qualifications JOB SUMMARY The Patient Access Specialist I functions as part of the clinical care team and is responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and accurately and efficiently performing patient registration, exit and appointment scheduling. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES 1. Ensure all patients and visitors feel warmly welcomed at all Union Community Care sites. Set the tone for a superb care experience. 2. Provides superior telephone customer service for patients seeking access or assistance. This can include rotation through Call Cloud. 3. Verifies all patient demographic and insurance information and applies predetermined sliding fee discount. 4. Verifies coverage of insurance if needed (must keep password current for PROMISe, Navinet, Department of Public Welfare and other insurances). 5. Answers incoming phone calls (at site or in Call Cloud) professionally and knowledgably about Union Community Care access and services. 6. Fully understands and can apply the Sliding Fee Discount Policy and Procedures. Offers Sliding Fee Discount to all patients. Applies sliding fee in Athena. 7. Works buckets including appointments to schedule and reschedule. Checks the Portal Bucket for appointment requests. Contracts patients to reschedule cancelled appointments. 8. Monitors Solution Reach appointment communication platform and cancels, schedules and changes appointments as requested by patients. 9. Collects applicable fees or co-payments at the time of registration, prior to the scheduled visit. 10. Performs patient check-in ensuring that all consents are current, patient account is current, and all demographic data is up to date and accurate in the e-HR. 11. Prepares daily batch report and reconciles cash drawer using the registration collection closing procedure. 12. Performs daily importing and scanning of necessary paperwork and forms, labels and routes documents to the appropriate recipient in Athena, deletes duplicate documents and cover sheets. 13. Performs patient exit, scheduling any necessary follow up appointments and providing patients with orders and care instructions. 14. Helps with other team duties including cleaning rooms, printing labels, work follow-up buckets, reviews team buckets and handles anything that can be appropriately handled by medical reception including labeling and routing of documents and other tasks as needed. 15.
