**Responsibilities**
+ Conducts interpretation and analysis tasks to extract relevant information from geospatial data sources
+ Participates in data resolution initiatives and special projects for asset data remediation, performing data quality control checks and process documentation updates
+ Assists in the site selection processes by evaluating potential project sites and assessing their feasibility using GIS tools and techniques
+ Generates and maintains GIS-generated operations maps, performing in-depth analysis on geospatial asset data
+ Participates in the development and implementation of tools supporting quality control tracking and reporting
+ Participates in the designs, development and implementation of procedures to improve efficiency of operations and processes associated with mapping standards and GIS tools
+ Updates and maintains the company's facilities maps, detailed records in the GIS, and geospatial data on desktop, mobile and cloud data storage applications
+ Supports construction-based activities including field investigations and GPS data collection
+ Supports data remediation efforts by performing desktop analysis, initial quality control, updating data, and developing methods and procedures to ensure existing GIS data and mapping products are accurate and meet acceptable standards
+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Three or more years of experience in GIS and/or analyzing data.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Two or more years of experience working within key systems of record such as SAP, SCEGeoview, ArcGIS, or MDG.
+ Two or more years of experience and proficiency with navigating and identifying key information within SAP.
+ Two or more years of experience analyzing data and large data sets from a variety of sources.
+ Two or more years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

+ This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. **Responsibilities**
+ Executes analytical support for projects and initiatives that help shape SCE's strategy, as well as long-term resource and climate adaptation plans
+ Facilitates horizon planning capabilities through scenario development in the face of uncertainty driven by exogenous market factors, like climate change and emerging technologies
+ Executes the use of analytical models and grid planning simulation tools, forecasting the impacts of various resource portfolio scenarios on system pricing, GHG emissions, and other system dimensions
+ Conducts research on new technologies, focusing on their cost-effectiveness and potential for supply and demand-side energy resources
+ Develops analytical models and methods for a variety of applications, including evaluating energy policies, regulations, climate change impacts, and new business models
+ Drives the analysis of market trends in the energy and ancillary services markets
+ Manages contract requirements, review payments, manage disputes and make strategic recommendations to maximize benefits to customers
+ Deploys and improves statistical and econometric models to forecast electricity demand and energy commodity prices to support position management and hedging

**Responsibilities**
+ Conducts long-term grid import planning analyses and transmission interconnection assessments and projects. Manages various large design projects from inception to construction completion with follow- through on policies, procedures, rules, rates, completion dates, and ensuring compliance of electrical designs.
+ Supports the company's electrical distribution system by developing and designing plans, identifying necessary resources and providing cost estimates and options for the construction of distribution facilities.
+ Makes decisions that have a direct impact on project, course, timing, scope, and budget.
+ Performs field inspections to gather data relevant to the planning and development review process and to verify that planning development projects comply with approved plans.
+ Assesses the capabilities of the regional distribution system and its compliance with the planning criteria.
+ Conducts power flow studies, builds power flow models, and prepares economic analyses to develop short- and long-term distribution system plans.
+ Ensures the distribution system performance meets reliability targets and that outages are analyzed for cause, trends and duration.
+ Coordinates activities with other internal personnel and/or organizations to ensure compliance and appropriate follow-through of policies, procedures, rules, rates, and completion dates applicable to his/her assigned projects.
+ Stays up to date of current industry practices, standards and customer needs. Interacts with a diverse customer base on meeting electrical design needs and is responsible for providing successful outcomes for the customer and SCE on assigned or requested projects.
+ Provides training and support, assessing and managing the workload when necessary.
+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Three or more years of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Design, Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Line Construction, or Engineering discipline.
+ Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, construction standards, and industry practices.
+ Experience with CAD based design.
+ Experience determining scope of work, method of service, and construction methods for overhead and underground facilities.
+ Experience preparing distribution work orders or construction plans on projects.
+ Experience analyzing and/or designing engineered civil drawings.
+ Experience managing multiple and/or sensitive projects and functioning effectively under tight time constraints, shifting priorities and making critical decisions with minimal supervision.
+ Experience serving as a project leader for the design and implementation of design projects, as well as planning, influencing, anticipating, and communicating conditions, trends and corrective actions in operational areas.
+ Able to drive, traverse on uneven surfaces, occasionally lift up to 40 lbs., sit/stand for extended periods of time, work in various weather conditions.
