Preferred Qualifications + At least 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in power generation or a similar heavy industrial environment. + Mechanical Engineering degree or hands-on Technical/vocational training in mechanical maintenance with strong knowledge of mechanical systems (turbines, pumps, valves, auxiliary equipment). + Project Management Professional (PMP) or contract management certification. + Experience managing contracted workforces and supervising represented employees under a collective bargaining agreement, with the ability to prioritize and plan work across a large geographic footprint. + Proficiency with procurement processes (managing POs, initiating RFPs) and using CMMS tools like SAP or Maximo. + Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-pressure, dynamic environment, especially during outages. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future? **Responsibilities** + Monitors and oversees the safe conduct of flight operations of the company's aircraft. + Main point of contact for pilots, maintenance, and ground support to report any irregularities which involve flight operations safety or emergency response measures. + Analyzes meteorological information to determine potential hazards and safety of flight and coordinate aviation activity + Coordinate activity in the hangar with the proposed aircraft schedule. + Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Effective time management skills and the ability to plan and organize an unpredictable workload is essential and needs to work both independently and in a team environment to meet shared goals and objectives. + Immediate response to customer requests and questions. + A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. **Minimum Qualifications** + Seven or more years of experience in flight operations. + Commercial Pilot Certificate or FAA Dispatcher Certificate. Preferred Qualifications + Experience coordinating flight operations across multiple business units and external aviation vendors. + Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps. + Experience in utlity helicopter operations. + Strong management and problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving scope, schedule, and process issues independently. + Experience conducting safety observations and supporting KPI design, data collection, and reporting for aviation operations. + Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with pilots, maintenance, ground support, and stakeholder groups inside and outside the organization. + Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) for scheduling, reporting, and communications. Additional Information + This position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs. + This position is part of an employee group that is currently participating in an active union‑organizing campaign.
