PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Ensures efficient and proper sealing as case moves through tape machine; maintains tape machine and reports any issues to supervisor and submit work orders to the maintenance department as needed.
Safely and securely stacks cases on pallet and ensures proper tags are securely fastened to completed pallets.
Regularly rotates through different responsibilities and on different packing lines as instructed by Supervisor or Lead; assists with packing, stacking and/or feeding product through other converting machines or shrink wrap machines as assigned.
Maintains quality standards by understanding defective characteristics of products, sorting defective parts, and communicating with Supervisor, Lead, or Quality Manager when quality issues arise.
Consistently performs required quality checks for fulfillment prior to and throughout production runs correcting issues when identified.
Ensures that finished products with defects are properly scrapped and discarded while consistently following procedures to minimize waste.
Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines; uses situational awareness and actively looks for weak signals to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions; advises Supervisor or Lead immediately of any information regarding the safety of the machine or machine crew.
Consistently wears appropriate PPE for the task at hand and within the assigned area.
Assists, as needed, with coordinating and communicating rotation assignments with other members of the packing crew to alternate packing and stacking duties on each production line.
Records production data and provides comments for each production job in the manufacturing computer system; completes production report and ensures accuracy with reporting of production data; sets up and uses various scanners as needed.
Actively seeks and adopts new updates and improvements to processes, new procedures, and innovations, which would add to the efficiency and safety of the operation; completes all safety, equipment or company training as required.
Maintains a clean work environment in accordance with Food Safety and 5S program.
Actively collaborates and effectively communicates with others throughout the plant to improve operations, reduce waste, maintain lean manufacturing goals, maintain safe working conditions, and answer questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training in a production or manufacturing environment. Must have basic computer skills and possess the ability to utilize software.

Description
The Warehouse Support Rep II serves as a leadership position within the warehouse, with primary responsibility for assisting the Operations Support Specialist and ensuring the efficient operation of our Columbus facility. This role also provides coverage during staff absences, maintaining continuity across all warehouse functions and supporting team members as needed.
The schedule for this role is Monday- Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm EST with a 30 minute lunch and 40 working hours per week.
Responsibilities
Daily functions may consist of one or all the following:
Lead operations by ensuring freight being processed correctly, operation staffed appropriately and audit pieces for accuracy
Process freight on the floor as needed: loading & unloading trailers
Administrative Processing:
Create routing sheet within Beacon (ERP system) so operations is aware of what customers and which trucks will be processed
Set up the first truck for departure; involves paperwork preparation
Create labels as needed for specific customers
Create report itemizing piece count for the day, weight of line hauls, numbers of skids, etc.; ensure Induction and Branch ops reports are complete
Check TSD exception report to ensure no local trucks listed under the exceptions
Customs CCI and PARS process scanning and email
Beacon data entry
Train new hires and lead cross training between warehouse & office processing
Communication with internal departments (i.e., District Quality Service Managers & Customer Support) to ensure accurate freight processing, product track & trace, updates on issues, guidance on decision making with customers
Communicate with drivers & carriers to schedule pick-ups; on an as needed basis

+ In accordance with company policies and procedures, work to ensure quality cartons are produced, machine speeds and customer standards are maintained safely.

+ Knowledge and experience with operating Bobst Die Cutters 145 and 162.
+ Responsible for press make ready: adjust press to accommodate for new product sheets being cut (set feeder, lock up die, set stripper, blanker, and delivery).

This position is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation, leadership and management of our Franklin, OH plant. This position reports to the Director of Operations and regularly reports on plant performance.

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform tooling conversions, prepare machines for production, repair and install new machine parts as needed. Perform preventative maintenance on machines. In addition, perform and complete other work as assigned by supervisor. All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging safety procedures and policies.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:
* Adjust / Repair Machines Throughout Facility: Make adjustments and/or repairs to all equipment throughout the facilities to keep them operational.
* Perform Preventative Maintenance on Machines: Follow weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance inspection sheets or PM tasklists for the blanker, leak tester, slitter, baler, stretch wrapper, Lid Lines, Brown 800, autobagger, pad locker, conveyor, robots, cup machines and any other production/ support equipment or facilities. Rebuild parts and make identified repairs if possible or write up notifications.
* Perform Tooling Conversions: Remove, clean, install tooling for various machines such as cup formers, lid lines, etc. Make all necessary adjustments and set proper settings. Test run equipment and make sure product meets quality standards.
* Install New Machines: Jack up the piece of equipment to remove the skid. Set down the machine and level its legs using a leveler. Run the conduit for all electric hookups. Run air and vacuum lines. Install printer if necessary. Install side paper roll stand. Set up cup tubing.
* Prep Machines for Production: Run the machines to produce products and evaluate their quality. Inspect the rim diameter, rim thickness, cup height, and test the cups for leaks. Validate lid form and quality checks after PMs or troubleshooting. If all test results are satisfactory, turn machine over to operators for production. If test results are unsatisfactory, make necessary machine adjustments and repairs.
* Repair Parts: Pick up and repair worn and broken parts from the Parts Room. When repairs are complete, tag the part as 'o.k.' and label the part with its part number.

MINUMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE:
* Prior Maintenance Department experience highly preferred
* The ability to read, analyze, and develop plans based on blue prints is essential
* Production experience preferred
* Mechanical and electrical background is helpful
* Work requires the ability to move around the plant, stand for long periods, and the ability to safely lift up to 60lbs.
* Finger dexterity and good vision is required, as is the ability to work with close tolerances, precise measurements, and the ability to read schedules and scales.
* Demonstrate an understanding of GPI's safety culture.
* Strong communication skills.
TIME OF OPERATION: 12-hour shifts, working alternately (36) and (48) hour weeks with four (15) minute breaks and one (25) minute lunch

Offers guidance and direction in regard to all laminating processes. General Inspector-Packer Responsibilities:
* Arrive at the machine before shift start.
* Inspect cartons and pack them into a box or bag.
* Notify the operator/Supervisor of non-conforming products.
* One of the general inspectors should move to the outfeed of the machine when the machine goes down to prepare for start-up.
* Reclaim should be worked on by one of the general inspectors each every machine goes down (even just a couple of bags make a difference).
* Help with daily cleaning (sweeping, mopping, and organizing).
* Pick up bags from the floor and put them in the proper place.
* Check for excess glue.

The Summer 2026 Electrical Engineering intern will work with Continuous Improvement, Engineering and Maintenance departments daily.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
* Assist the Engineering Department in managing improvement projects to meet facility goals
* Review procedures, analyze data, and implement sustained process improvements
* Help to identify potential changes needed to improve system / process effectiveness and efficiency
* Collect and analyze data to incorporate trends and provide corrective action planning to Engineering Manager
* Use technical skills and formal lean/six sigma methods to identify root causes and implement solutions, including design changes
* Responsible for managing projects and providing weekly updates to Engineering Manager along with completing a Final Presentation to the Lead Team
* This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months; could lead to possible fulltime employment at conclusion of internship
* Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
* Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Completion of 2 - 3 years engineering curriculum by Fall 2026
SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
* General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
* The final schedule to be agreed upon by intern and hiring manager

The Cup Operator will perform various cup machine related duties such as roll changes, maintain ink and fluid levels, minor mechanical adjustments as required to run efficiently.In addition, perform and complete other work as assigned by supervisor. All employees must follow all of Graphic Packaging International's safety procedures and policies.
**DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:**
+ **Follow production schedule:** Receive production schedule from supervisor. Inspect orders listed on assigned machines to determine what prints are currently running and what print changes will occur during shift. Notify Warehouse to bring in needed rolls or blank carts as necessary.
+ **Prepare 3-4 cup machines for production:** Clean mandrel turret. Inspect electrical cabinet and confirm proper settings and conditions exist for production. Use lift to load sidewall paper and use the lift connected to the machine to load the bottom stock. Load blanks on table for blank fed machine. Prepare new roll by taping edges. Thread the rolls through the feeders.
+ **Startup machines:** Push jog button on both sides of the bottom maker to produce cups for the gripper, mandrel, and paper turrets. When cups begin feeding into the cup tube, push the run button to begin production. Record roll/blank cart numbers, linear feet run, time of roll/blank cart change, and the case number in which roll changes take place on the Production Report.
+ **Maintain fluid levels:** Maintain and stock adcote, mineral oil, and silicone levels as necessary.
+ **Troubleshoot:** Clean machine tooling as needed. Make temperature adjustments as specified by guidelines. Facilitate testing as necessary. When notified of leaker problem, follow leaker correction procedure. For large problems, notify Maintenance by using the intercom and turning on the machine's maintenance light.
+ **Maintain Setting for Prints:** Keep machine and area clean. Wipe off oil, ink, paper dust, and poly deposits in and around the machine. Use the air hose to blow out paper and oil buildup. Keep floor free of oil and paper dust. Keep area clear of hazards. Empty barrels by dumping cups, blanks and paper scrap in dumpsters or in shredders where applicable.
+ **Housekeeping:** Keep machine and area clean. Wipe off oil, ink, paper dust, and poly deposits in and around the machine. Use the air hose to blow out paper and oil buildup. Keep floor free of oil and paper dust. Keep area clear of hazards. Empty barrels by dumping cups, blanks and paper scrap in dumpsters or in shredders where applicable.
+ **Cover for other Cup Operators:** Operate the machines of other cup operators while they take their breaks, if there is no break person. **Monthly Cleaning:** Follow given machine cleaning checklist. Notify supervisor, maintenance or group leader of any problem(s) discovered. Turn checklist into supervisor.
+ **Responsible for assuring production of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards.**
+ **Other responsibilities as assigned.**
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** Must be able to frequently and safely carry and lift scrap buckets of approximately 30 lbs. Must be willing to work overtime. and stand continuously is required.
**TRAINING PROVIDED:** On-the-job training provided by a designated trainer. Training period is approximately 6 - 8 weeks and will be on DAY SHIFT.
