PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Responsibility of setting up the pallet stand with a new pallet and ensuring that the stacking pattern of the bundles is correct, product is correctly wrapped, and stored in its location.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
* In accordance with our 5S system, maintain a clean work environment
* Perform set up and operation of shrink wrap equipment used to create wrapped pallets while ensuring that the pallet is not broken, and is free of dirt, pests, or trash
* Off bearing the shrink wrapped bundles onto the pallet
* Monitor production runs to determine conformity to quality specifications
* Place finished work on designated pallets for next downstream process
* Move work-in-process to and from the machine
* Perform routine preventative maintenance and adjustments on equipment as needed
* Read and understand job tickets, complete necessary job paperwork, and record information into shop floor data system
* Communicate with other team members when quality issues are present to avoid quality errors
* Ensure all pallets are built according to preferred methods and wrapped from the bottom of the pallet to the top cases on each pallet to avoid damage during transport
* Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area
* Report productivity achievements, waste/defects
* Adhere to safety, production schedule, and quality requirements
* Make sure that the stacking pattern and height conforms to the job ticket and labels
* Printing and folding of the labels
* Ensuring that labels are correct with the pallet card or job ticket
* Calling stock puller for pick up at the machine
* Adjust to and follow new procedures and innovations, which would add to the efficiency and safety of the operation
* Effectively utilizes downtime (not including approved breaks) by performing other tasks associated with maintaining a clean work environment or as otherwise instructed by a supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic computer skills and possess ability to utilize software.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibility of learning the machine(s) to insure that quality products are achieved at a consistent rate of speed in accordance with machine standards, color requirements, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learns to set up machine in a consistent manner as instructed in the training program, follow the procedures with regard to proper setup unless the training is changed and properly recorded with regard to procedure
Learns to make machine adjustments in order to maintain machine at safety, quality, and production standards
Follows all checklist procedures fully, keep all parts in their proper place, and recommend replacement or repair of worn parts by alerting lead, supervisor or maintenance.
Observes safety procedures at all times
Uses computer system to log productivity and remarks on job, accurately completes production report and record production data and downtime
Inspects printed cartons to verify accuracy and clarity of printing. Analyze and correct production problems, using all of the enhanced tools available contacting the supervisor for assistance when necessary
Documents and report all non-conforming product to supervisor or lead or quality person
Responsible for all equipment, tools assigned, and notify the supervisor of any additional tools or equipment that would add to the efficiency and safety of the operation
Learns to troubleshoot, diagnose, and assists in repair of machine malfunctions; performs routine cleaning, and maintenance
Follows all instructions issued on the work jacket and advise the supervisor of any incorrect or non-recorded information that is necessary for proper set-up and operation

Systems Operator - Chattenooga, TN
Starting Pay: $18.00 per Hour
Position Summary:
The Systems Operator has the responsibility of ensuring that all types of material are managed correctly. This includes but is not limited to the removal of all scrap, corrugate disposal, organizing resins, scrap movements, weighing and palletizing scrap or sheet, preventing contamination, cleaning filters, dumping resin, etc. This position is reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
* Must be able to safely operate forklift truck.
* Must be aware of and follow all safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment, housekeeping, hazardous materials, etc.
* Must be able to interface with all machine operators concerning the proper control of regrinds, virgin resin, and additives
* Ensure timely distribution of materials to the proper machine, and removal of resins for proper line clearance and storage.
* Perform proper separations and controls of the various resins with a focus on contamination prevention and alert supervisor if contamination is found.
* Any paperwork must be prepared timely and accurately and turned into the shift supervisor at the end of the shift
* Identify various types of resins in both Virgin and Regrind form.
* Operate and understand vacuum loading systems.
* Operate and understand resin blending system.
* Operate and understand gaylord dump systems.
* Operate and understand scales and how to document resin tags.
* Ensure regrind is properly documented and confirm that no loose regrind is on the pallet or spilling from the Gaylord before transporting.

Position Summary
The Ink Room Technician is responsible for preparing and mixing ink according to job specifications and color standards, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring quality. Prepare and mix inks according to job specifications and color standards.

Train others on dispenser use and quality checks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Class A Maintenance Technician will serve the production areas of the business with skilled mechanical support for all areas of production including the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, piping, and minor electrical and electronic systems. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Safely feed/pack product glued on the machine to acquire quality product at the desired target speed of each run.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Feeding consists of removing blanks from a pallet, checking for quality of product, and placing them into the feed hopper of the gluer machine maintaining the hopper at proper load heights
It will be the responsibility of the feeder to observe the blanks flowing through the machine and watch for quality and jam-ups, and to alert the Operator of problems or stop the machine
The production assistant will notify the Operator before a new pallet of blanks is needed maintaining adequate blanks into the hopper to ensure there is no interruption in run speeds
Packing can consist of one or two persons depending on the product and run speed of the carton produced
A packer will fill a corrugated case with the proper case count by picking up the blanks and placing them uniformly into the case ensuring proper fit, and notifying the Supervisor of any issues
Maintain quality standards by learning defective characteristic for products, sorting defective parts, and communicating with Machine Operator, Supervisor, and Quality Control staff

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science or Arts in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and minimum two years' experience working with and analyzing financial data in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Working knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications - Word, Outlook, Excel software.

Position Summary
The Ink Room Technician is responsible for preparing and mixing ink according to job specifications and color standards, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring quality. This role supports the pressroom by managing ink inventory, performing color matching, troubleshooting, and ensuring inks meet production needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and mix inks according to job specifications and color standards.
* Perform color matching using spectrophotometer, drawdowns, and visual assessment.
* Read and interpret job tickets to ensure correct ink is produced.
* Collaborate with press operators to troubleshoot ink-related printing issues.
* Maintain accurate records of ink usage, formulations, and inventory levels.
* Use scales to mix ink formulas and perform drawdowns for press/customer approval.
* Operate and maintain equipment such as X-Rite densitometer, pH meter, and Zahn cup.
* Manage ink and coating inventory, ordering as needed.
* Ensure buckets from prior shifts are returned and cleaned.
* Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ink room equipment.
* Crosstrain with Pre-Make Ready Technicians and provide coverage as needed.
* Train others on dispenser use and quality checks.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with Food Safety and 5S standards.
* Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and practice situational awareness.
* Support continuous improvement by following updated procedures and innovations.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
