Greene assumed her current position in March 2014. Prior to being named executive vice president and chief operating officer, Greene was President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Company Services, Inc. Prior to rejoining Southern Company in April 2013, Greene was executive vice president and chief generation officer of Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). While at TVA, she served as chief financial officer, executive vice president of financial services and chief risk officer, as well as, group president for strategy and external relations. Greene began her career at Southern Company in 1991 and held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of engineering, strategy, finance and wholesale marketing, including serving as senior vice president and treasurer of Southern Company Services, Inc. from 2004 to 2007. I have spent nearly 30 years leading complex technology organizations in highly regulated environments and currently serve as Southern Company's CIO. I led the largest technology integration in the history of U.S. financial services as part of Wells Fargo’s merger with Wachovia.

The wide range of IT leadership roles that I have held include serving as Wells Fargo’s head of enterprise information technology, executive vice president and chief technology officer, and Wachovia’s corporate chief information officer.

Cummiskey is responsible for delivering growth and customer solutions across Southern Company’s subsidiaries, leads Southern Company’s unregulated competitive businesses and oversees the innovation functions for organization. He previously served as executive vice president of external affairs and nuclear development for Georgia Power, chief commercial officer of Southern Power and as commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Cummiskey’s work in the public sector includes a state director for U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson of Georgia and chief of staff for the speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives. He is a past member of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, the Georgia Ports Authority, Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia board of trustees for the Nature Conservancy.

Kerr joined the Company in March 2014. He was a partner with McGuireWoods LLP and a senior advisor at McGuireWoods Consulting LLC from 2008 through February 2014. He also served as co-chairman of McGuireWoods’ energy industry team with focus in the areas of energy transactions and finance, energy regulation, energy policy and energy litigation. Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Kerr served as a Commissioner on the North Carolina Utilities Commission for eight years, as president of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners from 2007 through 2008 and as president of the Southeastern Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners from 2002 through 2003. Prior to joining the Commission, Kerr was an attorney in private practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born 1964.
