    Provide technical oversight and management of the commissioning and field engineering related activities for all the PowerSecure Inc. Distributed Infrastructures Systems. This position will be the clear bond between the client, PowerSecure engineering, PowerSecure Service, and operation entities for the successful field vetting of our Distributed Infrastructure Systems. Clear processes and procedures for focused, high quality, pre-defined efforts to meet client expectations shall be the guiding principles for this position. Dedicated to being customer focused by meeting the required expectations, maintaining high decision quality by using work experience, systematic analysis, and engineering support to make valuable and safe decisions, while excelling at problem solving by using logic and time proven methods to effectively resolve any problem. Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills) + HS Diploma or equivalent. + 6+ years of commercial/industrial experience working on generators, ATS, and/or switchgear. + PLC, generator controller and protective relay experience required. + Valid Driver's License. + Must be able to pass background check and drug screen. + Must be able and willing to travel overnight for extended periods dictated by project demands (Up to 75%-95%). + Commissioning experience is a plus. + NFPA 70 Arc Flash Certified preferred. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook email/calendars. + Advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical Theory. Job Duties and Responsibilities: + Must be able to accurately document onsite changes to As-Shipped Drawings and Settings Files. + Ability to program and make edits to PLC's, generator controllers, and protective relays. + Display proficient knowledge with power distribution systems, specifically switchgear, generator critical applications, circuit path configuration, and proper management of phase conversions. + Must be able understand and follow project scopes to prevent any type of scope creep. + Ability to develop and maintain a project schedule. + Strong written and verbal English skills. + Possess a thorough understanding of electrical schematics, troubleshoot system/equipment malfunctions, while noting design errors and improving overall efficiency. + Assist in the development and execution of engineering change notices. + Communicate clearly and professionally with varying levels of coworkers/customers via phone/email and in person. Duties may include but are not limited to: + Liaison to engineering groups in the factory to issues in the field that arise during the start-up and commissioning of the site. + Engage in complex field start-ups by providing quality and engineering oversight. + Assist PowerSecure Service Technicians on complex start-ups via phone or onsite assistance. + Provide control of onsite engineering changes to drawings and settings files. + Effectively communicate open action items, develop proper initiatives for action planning and task assigning. + Assist in the development of written commissioning, and testing plans to ensure system start-ups are effectively completed. + Provide communication between project management and engineering to ensure job scope and schedule integrity is being maintained. + Develop and maintain strong working relationships with project management, design engineers, and the service department to ensure product improvement initiatives are maintained. + Assist in the development and execution of field retrofit projects. + Lead complex system customer witness testing within the manufacturing facility. + Escalate issues to leadership that threaten the quality or schedule of projects in a timely manner to assure customer satisfaction while not taking on exorbitant costs. Physical Demands and Work Environment: + Travel will be required. Up to 75%-95% + Moving materials and equipment that weigh ~40lbs + Occasional exposure to and requirement to work on around industrial equipment including switchgear/switchboards, + Diesel and Gas generators, outdoors, around metal welding, forming, cutting and other industrial processes. + Work both in an outdoor and indoor office settings. As a Mid-Level Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, collaborating with project teams, and supporting the delivery of high-quality scheduling services. Responsibilities include: Data Entry and Maintenance: Inputting project data into the Primavera P6 system, including project activities, durations, resources, and relationships between tasks. You will also be responsible for regularly updating and maintaining the schedule as the project progresses. Schedule Monitoring: Assisting in monitoring project progress by comparing actual work completed to the planned schedule. Identifying discrepancies and helping to develop corrective action plans. Generating Reports: Supporting and producing regular schedule reports and schedule updates for project managers. This may involve extracting data from P6 and presenting it in a clear and concise manner. Resource Management: Assisting in managing project resources by ensuring they are properly assigned to activities and responsible groups are identified accurately.
