1906

Then, in 1906, the Beulah Heights Academy and Bible School opened.

1909

The first school at the Bethany campus was Oklahoma Holiness College, founded in 1909.

1920

In 1920 the creation of Bethany Peniel College marked a turn toward the Christian liberal arts tradition.

1926

Oklahoma City, OK: Charles Edwin Jones,1926.

1940

The last merger was Bresee Theological College, in 1940.

In 2005, the American Association of University Professors took SNU off its censure list.

2006

In 2006, the university was ranked 57th for Master’s degree programs by United States News and World Report in their Best Colleges in America annual listing edition.
