Position Summary
The Choice Neighborhood Initiative Case Manager (grant-funded) is responsible for providing intense case management, referral, and seamless coordination with community and supportive services activities that promote economic self-sufficiency for families, enhance quality of life for seniors and disabled people, and increase opportunities for families who formerly lived or are currently living at Marble Manor. This role involves assessing the family's needs, developing an individualized plan for each family member, providing resources and referrals as needed, and tracking referrals and their outcomes. The case manager will assist and follow the family for eight (8) years, the Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) duration. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting families in their transition and ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize knowledge of the local community to assist families with navigating a variety of social service organizations and public agencies.
Identify gaps in services, advocate on behalf of families, and coordinate and monitor service delivery for an assigned caseload.
Develop Individualized Care Plans (ICPs) that encompass each family member's health, education, and employment needs.
Collaboration is key in this position, as the outside partner agencies are to develop and cultivate resources that are made available for participants of the Choice Neighborhood Families.
Provide crisis interventions to help program families avert crises and develop strategies to recognize potential triggers, creating more productive outcomes.
Daily interactions with program participants will require professional judgment and discretion to implement the team-determined ICP, assisting families in achieving their goals.
The case manager will also assist program participants in finding community resources after relocation, such as employment opportunities and high-performing schools.
Attend community supportive services meetings with critical partners and other social service entities.
Maintain confidentiality regarding information obtained through the position. Adhere to the confidentiality standards of the Privacy Act of 1974, {USC § 552A} as amended.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain case files and record client data in a database, ensuring complete documentation and accurate activity recording.
Assist in planning, organizing, and executing community events and ensure they meet the community's needs.
Conduct outreach to engage families in health, education, and employment services and maintain open lines of communication with families.
This position is eligible for participation in the collective bargaining unit (SEIU), representing certain Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority employees

Minimum Qualifications

Education, training, and work experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or other relevant fields. Or a minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a case manager, service coordinator, or other relevant direct practice with low-income households.
Licenses and Certifications

Position Purpose:
The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry-leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.
Key Job Activities:
• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
• Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on the assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.
• Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
• Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service.
• Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable.
• Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles/containers are securely locked.
• Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles/containers.
• Manages assigned routes ensuring customers' confidential material is collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handles and responds to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it.

Experience:
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management.
• Current driver's license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
• May require mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements.

Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.
Duty locations offering 25% recruitment incentives: Otay Mesa, San Francisco, San Ysidro, and Tecate, CA; Key West, FL; etc.
Duty locations offering 15% recruitment incentives: Honolulu, HI; Portal, ND; etc.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.

* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration and mentoring are cornerstones of Geosyntec's culture. PURPOSE This position provides a full array of public safety communications services for Police, Fire, and EMS on a 24-hour, 7-day basis. The Police Communications Dispatcher receives and transmits routine and 9-1-1 emergency telephone and radio calls, dispatches required personnel and/or equipment; performs responsible clerical work of moderate complexity; operates various dispatch center equipment including computers, teletypes, general office equipment.

Answer Emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
Dispatch appropriate personnel to location or incident scene.
Respond to needs of officers and fire personnel involved in public safety related activities.
Maintain composure during incident period and prioritize tasks according to importance.
Relay information to other agencies and coordinate mutual response radio traffic.
Operate a variety of equipment such as: Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, record management system (RMS), state linked terminal, vehicle mapping, multiple-line telephone and police radio.
Assess situations and make appropriate decisions consistent with established guidelines and training.
Maintain accurate department and public safety records and files.
Act as first line answering point for the department and respond to requests from the public.
Effectively use the English language including spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, and grammar.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, and,
One (1) years of experiencerequiring constant public contact, preferably with radio broadcasting equipment.
Current or be able to obtain certifications in Emergency medical Dispatcher (EMD), NCIC/NCJIS, and CPR from the State of Nevada.
Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483.
Must pass a nationwide fingerprint-based record check, and a wants/warrants check.
Must be able to type 35 wpm.
