Summary: The Procedural Care Unit sees an average of 55 cases daily, offering a fast-paced environment. PCU provides care both before and after procedures for Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular labs. Procedures include TAVR's, ablations, biopsies, catheterizations and more. PCU is an outpatient/closed unit, there are no floating requirements. Day shift holiday requirement: Either one working holiday or one on call shift. Weekend: One 12 hour shift every 8 weeks required, either Saturday or Sunday Scheduling: 8 week set/repeating schedule allowing you to know your schedule for a better work life balance. On call: You will be placed on call one weekend from 7a-7p one to two times yearly. ED, ICU, or cardiac/intermediate experience preferred. Follows medical record documentation procedure as detailed in the MCF Documentation Assistant policy. 19. Assists the provider in navigating the medical record. 20. Present during the provider's performance of a clinical service and documents (on behalf of the provider) everything said during the course of the service. 21. Conducts Daily check off for AED. 22. Conducts weekly check-off on equipment per department policy. 23. Conducts Monthly check-off for eye wash. 24. Ensures patient care areas are cleaned after each patient visit per SOMC guidelines. 25.
