Southtree company history timeline
Southtree was founded in 2009 by Lee University housemates Adam Boesalager and Nick Macco when they began digitizing home movies in their garage.
By 2013, the two launched a second media digitizing brand, Legacybox., through a successful Kickstarter campaign that generated more than $12,000 in pledges towards a $10,000 goal.
Since 2013, the business has grown by more than 1,150 percent.
As of 2017, the company had nearly 200 employees, two Tennessee-based offices and a 52,000 square foot production facility in the center of Chattanooga.
In October 2018, Southtree added a third brand to its digitizing portfolio – Kodak Digitizing.
