The Senior Business Analyst/SAP provides support for a broad range of functional aspects of the SAP system as they relate to business processes and development. This position is responsible for the planning, configuration, testing and end-user support of SAP applications as well as the functional oversight of custom software development, including meter to cash, planning and purchasing (PP), materials management (MM), inventory/warehouse management (IM/WM), sales and distribution (SD), S4HANA and C4C. This position also provides support for project management and vendor relationship management.
The Senior Business Analyst/SAP works in close collaboration with business partners, internal and external development teams and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications according to the specifications of the business need. This position actively participates in the development of technical and workflow solutions, analysis of SAP application solutions options, and the creation of appropriate related documents and the delivery of final solutions to the business utilizing reports, presentations and or visual aids. Provides leadership in working with business subject matter experts, developers and quality assurance staff to ensure deliverables are met as well as mentoring members of the IT team by assisting in the development of analytical skills, business understanding and SAP configuration. Utilizes information systems to improve efficiency and make recommendations on new system implementation or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and Company requirements. Works on blended project teams consisting of web developers, software engineers, functional analysts and business users at various levels in the organization to deliver projects to support the Company's short & long-term strategic roadmap. Guides implementation of SAP modules utilizing internal and external IT resources effectively.
POSITION DIMENSIONS
The incumbent does not have accountability for budgets but may have accountability for direct reports. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with senior management, division management, Information Services support staff, vendors, and consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS

Training:
Work with Dynalectric HR, Division Managers, and Field Operations Superintendent to ensure craft labor onboarding and training is consistent with the needs of the company and is unified in message & execution. Perform field leadership onboarding, and CW Boot Camp evaluation.
Facilitate the CW Boot Camp evaluation. A 2-day evaluation of all CWs before they are dispatched to a jobsite. The evaluation will be based on punctuality, coachability, safety mindedness, mechanical aptitude, ability to follow written instructions, and attitude in a workplace setting. Coordinate with Field Operations Superintendent on the dates and number of candidates.
Coordinate with Field Operations Superintendent & Field Supervisors to understand current and upcoming project staffing levels, and types of training that will be required to support these efforts. Weekly coordination with Field Operations Superintendent and Field Supervisors to understand current and future training needs. Viewing project schedules, site visits, pre-con meetings identifying special trainings per project requirements.
Promote Dynalectric safety culture. Work with the Area Safety Manager to ensure company safety goals are being supported. Monthly meeting with Area Safety Manager(s) to identify safety training needs.
Promote Dynalectric culture of learning by collaborating with Field Operations Superintendent regarding site visits. Be accessible to field personnel to provide consultation, answer questions, and provide continued education. Walk project sites to identify craft training needs.
Assist in deployment of companywide initiatives that will affect craft labor. Coordinate with Arizona Division Manager and Field Operations Superintendent for deployment of initiatives.
Facilitate Dynalectric Field Supervision training in the main office or onsite.
Post training, assist Training Coordinator in gathering paper feedback surveys for entry into the training database.
Assist in the union new hire interview process in an effort to identify qualified individuals
Identify basic levels of competency and recommend training programs for individual new hires. Be involved with NHO, review remarks left by new hires in new hire packets. Work with Field Operations Superintendent to identify what roles & responsibilities new hires will be performing on project site.
Help develop training courses specific to hands on skills. Including, but not limited to underground construction, temp power, conduit bending, branch wiring, lighting, devices, fire alarm, and best-known trade methods.
Provide direction and coordinate logistics for the tools and training equipment necessary for hands on learning. Incorporate the space necessary to ensure an appropriate learning environment. Book training spaces in the office or onsite as needed.
Support craft workers understanding of the NFPA 70 (NEC), when necessary.
Assist in facilitating training of basic software use and company processes, as required for craft workers roles and responsibilities.
Other miscellanies duties:
Work with Field Operations Superintendent to develop goals and future initiatives.
Coordinate with the Division Manager to make sure our message and content is in line with company objectives.
Be in tune with company goals and how to get info to the field. Identify what's working and what may not be working adjust tactics as necessary. Work with other departments as needed to obtain the above goal.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
Strong field supervisory experience, minimum 5 years General Foreman or higher, or 5 years of electrical training experience.
Understanding of training processes and learning methods

In this role, you will apply your civil engineering expertise to moderate-scale engineering and construction projects, contributing to the development and enhancement of T&D standards and practices.
Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining construction standards and material specifications, conducting engineering analyses, evaluating materials and failed components, and supporting internal design and construction teams. You'll play an active role in identifying improvement opportunities across T&D design and construction processes, and will have increasing responsibility for technical decisions, guidance, and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies. Occasional after-hours support may be required.
Minimum Requirements
Engineer II
* A four-year Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science discipline (see approved list) from an ABET accredited institution, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution or an ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) plus two (2) years working experience in Engineering-related positions.
Engineer III
* A four-year Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science discipline (see approved list) from an ABET accredited institution, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution or an ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) plus five (5) years working experience in Engineering-related positions.
Approved Engineering degrees:
* Materials Science/Metallurgy, Physics, Chemistry, Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, Environmental, Chemical, Structural.
(A four-year bachelor of Engineering Technology degree is not considered an automatic equivalent for a B.S. degree in Engineering. A review of the degree program curriculum must be completed by Engineering department management.)
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:
* Civil/Structural Engineering Degree.
* Experience in structural loading analysis using O-Calc or other similar software programs.
* Ability to apply good construction, operating and engineering practices while adhering to the APS safety rules and company policies.
* Good oral and written communications skills.
Major Accountabilities
1) Analyzes and prepares a variety of data, technical reviews and evaluations, trend analyses, short to long-range technology assessments, products and services, investigations, product/specification verifications to aid decision making. May present findings to a diverse group of management, internal staff, customers, vendors, etc.
2) Identifies, communicates and advocates resolution of technical concerns while adhering to sound engineering principles during evaluation / resolution of the conditions. Challenges conditions and decisions when needed to ensure T&D Standards, engineering designs, project controls and oversight of work has high technical quality, is cost effective, in compliance with established standards, codes and regulations, maintains future reliability, satisfies customer requirements, budget and schedules to meet or exceed all reasonable or agreed upon customer service levels.
3) Interfaces with customers or cross organizational team members to assess their needs, determine the scope of the project, obtain necessary data to make key decisions which may require consultation with external or internal customers or employees.
4) May provide oversight of engineering technical programs by managing the program requirements, working with cross organizational partners, reviewing and internalizing operating experience and coordinating corrective actions to ensure engineering program elements continue to meet T&D standards.
5) Provides support for projects and modifications that will increase operating efficiency. May review design and documentation of projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, schedules and any regulatory requirements.
6) Plans, coordinates, sets priorities, and applies resources on moderate projects or processes.
7) Takes initiative to eliminate barriers and uses resources to ensure desired results.
8) Checks and reviews standard analysis, evaluations, and investigations of others.
9) Provides technical guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers.
10) Remains cognizant of current technology and engineering developments as well as industry and competitive developments.
11) Maintains high individual level of engineering technical capabilities and expertise by formal education, self-study, and awareness of technology advances.
