What You Will Do
The Maintenance Engineer will report directly to the respective shift assigned Engineering Team Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior Maintenance Engineer for daily priorities. As a Maintenance Engineer will provide first response to engineering fault conditions, both reactive and planned maintenance activities as well as being involved in continuous improvement projects within our start of the art, automated Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC).
Daily Maintenance Engineer roles may involve:
Carrying out electrical and mechanical planned maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training given.
Perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs by following written work instructions, blueprints and schematics.
Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs
Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties of equipment.
Analyze data to find solutions to improve MHE performance, providing reports where necessary.
Complete quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a safe standard.
The Maintenance Engineer may be asked to perform tasks as required by management, deemed as a reasonable request. Once the facility is commissioned, the roles defined in this job description will become the daily responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer.
About You
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
An Associate's or Vocational degree in an electrical or mechanical related discipline or advanced training with a minimum of three years experience.
A minimum of two years of direct experience in the mechanical or electrical field
Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance, to include predictive and preventive planned maintenance.
Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns, resolving issues, and handling repairs.
Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to impart knowledge effectively to others.
Good organization skills; able to prioritize.
This role involves working at height using a variety of access equipment, so you need to be comfortable working at heights.
Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
Sound analytical skills with an eye for detail; good problem-solving ability and a practical approach.
Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems.
Numerate and PC literate, including G-Suite and MS Office programs.
This role will require flexibility due to us being an operation and a shift pattern will be put in place that will require working days and weekends.

Position Summary:
The Senior Assistant, Grounds and Maintenance, will be responsible for the maintenance of the trails and grounds of Aullwood Audubon's 200-acre sanctuary. This includes the maintenance of over 8 miles of trails, lawns, sidewalks, patios, and boardwalks. This position will also be responsible for facilities maintenance issues in the absence of the maintenance manager.

Essential Functions
* Drive and operate Audubon landscape and maintenance equipment and vehicles safely while following local and state laws and Audubon procedures for their use. Equipment and vehicles include but are not limited to; zero turn mowers, tractors, company vehicles, utility vehicles, personal vehicle between site locations (farm/center).
* Mow lawns, weed-eat responsibly around trees, structures, and exhibits.
* Follow established protocols for mowing and tree/shrub trimming, including removing dead limbs and trees on trails and lawns, utilizing loppers, chainsaws and other hand and power tools, while following Audubon safety policies and procedures.
* Chip tree limbs and branches.
* Water and maintain trees, garden areas, and landscaped areas.
* Follow Aullwood's land management plan to maintain native landscapes and removal of invasive plants and shrubs as needed.
* Responsible for snow removal around the property in winter as well as responsible for salting to prevent /treat ice.
* Assist in coordinating volunteers in mowing, planting, trimming and general clean up.
* Assist in facility repairs such as changing light bulbs and other light maintenance work.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Ability to safely use a wide range of equipment including but not limited to chipper, chainsaw, dump trailer, plow, salter, electric clippers, basic hand tools, drills, blowers, power washer, tractors, pruning saws, snow blowers, zero turn and push mowers, tractors, and bush hogs; comfortable on ladders.
* Experience checking and changing oil and replacing belts on a variety of vehicles/equipment.
* Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions and able to recognize hazards and act quickly to rectify them.

Position Description:
We are looking for an Onsite Maintenance Technician, who will be responsible for completing maintenance work requests and preventative maintenance tasks on company buildings and property.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform general maintenance or grounds keeping duties as assigned.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs utilizing tools, materials or other necessary equipment for the assigned task.
Perform work in the following areas; drywall, painting, nominal wiring, plumbing, carpentry, laminate, general building equipment repairs, tanks, pumps, generators, engines, product assembly, furniture, etc.
Assist in locating, diagnosing and correcting maintenance related problems.
Operate and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment. Clean and repair machinery and equipment.
Assist other employees in tasks including, but not limited to, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping; occasional moving furniture, snow shoveling/removal, operating heavy machinery, climbing ladders, assisting with set-up and break-down of special events (which includes moving tables, chairs and/or food)
Keep impacted area or assigned work area clean by assuring sweeping, mopping, vacuuming is completed.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required with additional training desirable in one or more skilled areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC.
Must have and maintain a valid Ohio driver's license. Some local travel between sites is required.
Ability to diagnostic and trouble shoot building, grounds, equipment and systems desirable.
Blueprint schematic reading and interpretation skill is preferred.
Effective use of written and oral communication skills is essential with strong organizational skills and pride.

In this role, you will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of all agency facilities and property. You will be responsible for a wide range of services, including repairs and maintenance, carpentry, painting, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting, furnishings, HVAC, housekeeping (including janitorial, stocking supplies, and floor maintenance), parking, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
Basic Requirements:
Driver's license required
Driving record must pass BMV check to qualify for agency insurance
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position, including but not limited to constant reaching, handling/fingering; frequent standing, sitting, walking, balancing, stooping/bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting; occasional climbing including but not limited to ladders/scaffolding; constant near vision; frequently lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
