Be Part of Something Great YMCA of Greater Cincinnati SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE STAFF Location: Gamble Nippert YMCA FLSA: Part Time Salary Range: $13.00/hr Key Responsibilities: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the before/after school program. Follow culturally-relevant & developmentally-appropriate program curriculum. Provide careful, attentive supervision at all times. Participate in a variety of program activities with children. Maintain positive relationships with children, parents & staff. Follow YMCA policies & procedures, including those related to licensing requirements, medical & disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergencies. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, with high school diploma or equivalent. Must meet all licensing requirements as determined by state & local governments. Previous experience working with children is preferred. CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment. Work Environment and Physical Demands Regularly required to be standing for extended periods of time. Ability to keep up with children and lift up to 25lbs as well as transport materials as needed.

Kettering Health Middletown, formerly known as Middletown Health Center, has been serving the Middletown area since August of 2018. 20 bed facility Accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department. 24/7 full-service emergency center Short wait times Responsibilities & Requirements The Environmental Service Worker II position may include, but is not limited to: • Follow verbal and written safety guidelines • Perform required cleaning functions for designated work area • Document all daily assignments • Flexibility due to changes in schedule and/or staff shortage • Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all aspects of the job • Report any equipment issues to appropriate person or department • Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner • Record keeping and equipment storage • Regular and Hazardous waste handling as well as operating waste processing equipment • Sterile area cleaning such as the Operating rooms, sterile processing, and MRI • Delivering supplies to correct location • Operating the laundry equipment as well as changing curtains • Various utility duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Requirements: • 1 year of housekeeping and/or service-related field • Floor care experience • Able to lift/push/pull 10lbs to 25lbs daily • Demonstrate a high level of customer service towards staff and patients • Knowledge of electronic devices (computer, tablets, etc.) • Ability to read, write, communicate and understand written instructions given in English • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time • Must have the ability to plan, initiate responsibilities and follow through with the minimum direction • Strong communication skills, attitude, and attendance Preferred Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities and Duties Work with Early Childhood Director to ensure the safety and security of children in care Display a warm and welcoming attitude to families and children Follow and enforce Fairhaven Childcare policies and procedures so that all children and cared for in in a healthy, safe and welcoming environment Lead age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum provided by Director Care for children in age-appropriate way, including; diapering, toileting, feeding, playing with, etc. Show the love of Jesus to children through play, reading, the provided lesson, etc. Clean and re-stock classroom at end of shift. Arrive ready to welcome children into your care at the time assigned by Early Childhood Director. Work as a ream with other Childcare workers and Kids' staff to provide a coordinated approach to the ministry.
