Purpose of the Job
Collects samples and performs routine monitoring and testing of water and wastewater, collects samples for testing, including effluent samples, flows, and settable solids. Assists with general maintenance duties at facilities; washes down thickener, digester basin, and walkway; washes down aeration basin wall and walkway; checks and washes down bar screen and strainer; cleans clarifiers; dumps and cleans scum basin; operation of belt press; cleans office area and rest rooms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
In this role, you will service our customers by performing preventative maintenance, installation, determining issues with products, and training customers on the proper use of financial equipment throughout Macon and surrounding areas. WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
3+ years experience with low voltage electronics, mechanical systems, and computer experience; Safe or ATM Technical experience is a plus
Electro-mechanical skills a must, ability to use basic hand tools including but not limited to multi-meter, voltmeter, volt-ohm meter
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Purpose of position:
Work in Maintenance Operations as a steam system technician for Miura customers and Representatives within the United States and surrounding territories. Service, start-up, inspect, repair, and optimize Miura's complete steam solutions. Provide an excellent customer experience by delivering Miura's lifecycle partnership model of aftermarket support with predict-and-prevent maintenance. Interact positively and professionally with end users, the Rep network, and other Miura personnel to develop outstanding communication, collaboration, trust, and to protect the Miura brand.
The position will start with 6 months of intensive training as outlined below, then lead to placement at one of our Branch locations or Representative's facilities across the U.S. Relocation is required twice during the first 30 months of the program and locations will be determined based on business need. After 30 months Miura will consider permanent location requests and accommodate as possible IF business needs can be aligned.
Trainees will be paid during the 6-month training period and related expenses will initially be covered by Miura and tracked accordingly. Overview
The Nexus Water Group team has an opportunity for a Field Tech I. Responsible for the accurate and timely reading and recording of water meters to facilitate customer billing; to identify water meter equipment problems; and to perform minor water meter and/or system maintenance.
Work Location and Schedule
This position will travel between service areas Greenville, SC. Schedule is Monday through Friday. After-hour and weekend on-call support may be required. Must be available to work shift work; weekend scheduling may be required.
What You'll Do
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Document customer interaction and Field Activities in CC&B.
Act as liaison between the customers and customer service personnel for problem/complaint resolution.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding meter reading schedule, billing, how meters are read and other customer service related matters.
Provide on-site customer communication.
Assist with maintaining mechanical, electrical and piping systems for area water/wastewater facilities, collections and distribution systems.
Constant, independent travel daily between worksites on Company time.
Must work On-Call in rotation as scheduled; responds to emergency situations as required.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform minor meter maintenance and repair duties
May walk 5 - 10 miles per day over established route, reading between 200 and 1200 meters per day and records volume used by residential and commercial customers.
