Responsibilities:
Oversee equipment maintenance which includes repairing and installing electrical systems, motors, inverters, PLC's, robotic systems, and automated technologies.
Troubleshoot, and complete repairs to ensure safety and minimal downtime.
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections and review drawings and written instructions to ensure proper equipment operation.
Execute assigned or scheduled work orders in support of projects and process improvement (PI) efforts identified as critical to business objectives.
Mentor junior maintenance electricians to improve their understanding and efficiency on electrical systems, installations, and upgrades.
Qualifications:
Must have working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Must have basic troubleshooting of electrical components such as, but not limited to PLC's, AC & DC drives, relay logic, single loop controllers, pneumatics & hydraulics.
Ability to size wire and components for specific single & 3 phase circuits.
Basic understanding of PLC operation.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/prints and make simple sketches. Experience in the application of formulas such as current, voltage, etc.

Job Summary
