Position Description
The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for recording data pertaining to receiving, storing, and shipping of grain at grain elevators. The Warehouse Operator will work with the other members of the team to work toward operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiencies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Operate production equipment; open and close slide gates to start stop flow of grain.
Accurate weighing grain and record in computer system print and sign scale tickets for all unloaded and loaded out grain by truck or rail.
Responsible for accurately taking samples of all unloaded and loaded grain.
Responsible for keeping charts indicating location and contents of storage tanks and bins.
Complete and accurately monitor grades by weighing grain samples and recording results.
Operate production equipment; start conveyors, bucket elevators select flow pipes, and selects storage tanks to convey grain into storage or for load out.
Prepare rail car for loading; open/close rail car lids using anti-fall harness (safely exit the rail car height: 15-20 feet).
Operate a forklift.
Maintain all equipment including repair, periodic maintenance, and service. Including documenting in web-based maintenance program.
General housekeeping and upkeep of working area to include; sweeping, shoveling, vacuum, compressed air, and sanitation.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.

DUTIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars
Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records
Serve our customers through providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience operating lift truck to load/unload lumber and steel products.
Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment
Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed
Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork
Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled
Positive, clear, and professional communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience. Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment
Lumber and Steel experience is preferred.
Experience in transloading fly ash from rail car to truck.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work outside the entire shift.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds
Must be willing and able to slide, push, or pull cases up to 60 pounds
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for pulling and staging material/components to the assigned production line and return all finished goods to the warehouse audit area.
Pulls sub-components from inventory for work orders, create kits and move components to the floor.
Manage inventory transactions in IQMS whenever moving components or finished goods.
Responsible for line clearance at the end of work order and return of unused pieces to inventory in IQMS.
Properly put away, track, pick and pack inventory.
Properly package and label parts and product.
Load, unload, or stack materials and product.
Measure, weigh or count materials and product.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
A high school diploma/GED.
Production experience
Ability to read and interpret DHRs (Device History Record)
Strong attention to detail with good counting and mathematical skills
Possess the written, verbal, and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively.
Competent in the use of computers and various software's, with the ability to access and enter data as necessary
Desirable Qualifications:
Forklift experience.
