Primary Functions: Read and understand blueprints (Ansi Y14.5) and weld symbols & bill of material. Able to work alone in producing custom products with the information communicated as a set of instructions. Layout, position, fit and weld components to assemble machinery according to blueprints and/or written and verbal instructions. Each build may be different. Need to be able to weld complex and unique projects. Machines typically include electrical and hydraulic components. As part of the build will be expected to assemble basic switches and buttons for electrical use, and to also assemble simple hydraulics for the machines.
