Ecological Risk Specialist
Sovereign Consulting Inc. seeks a mid to upper-level Restoration Ecologist with 10+ years of ecological restoration experience in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and New England Region experience is a plus. This is a “doer-seller” position, with focus on coastal systems, including but not limited to nature-based restoration of tidal marsh, shorelines, tidal rivers and streams, and near shore reefs. Experience with stream restoration and freshwater systems is also beneficial.

Requirements:

Experience with wave transmission calculations and modeling is a plus
Experience with hybrid living shoreline and tidal marsh design
Experience with interpreting and applying tidal data to the restoration design
Experience with sediment transport mechanisms
Extensive knowledge of applicable State and Federal guidance, rules and regulations
Experience with conceptual, 30%, 60%, and 100% design development
Experience working with local, regional, and national agencies and NGOs
Experienced with public outreach, education, and involvement
Strong networking skills
Strong project development skills

Overview
The Senior Project Manager manages large projects and proposals of high risk and significant complexity for the Power Delivery, Field Services, Construction Management and System Studies practices in the Energy Sector. As a Project Manager, you will work with a staff of interrelated professionals dedicated to providing high-level expertise on complex remediation projects above, below and at ground-level. SUMMARY
Partner is seeking a full-time Project Manager to perform property condition assessments along with all project management responsibilities including planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform quality assurance (QA) review and quality control (QC) of all portions of the project, including text and appendices.

Effectively communicate project expectations (i.e. Client-specific SOW, templates) to team members and assessors in a timely and clear fashion throughout the course of the project.
Provide solid recommendations and solutions to RMs and clients, while understanding the assessment's potential impact on the transaction process.
Identify and resolve issues with projects.
Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or e-mail), recommendations to the RM and Client.
Manage client follow-up, questions, and concerns.
Communicate and coordinate follow-up questions with PAs during the review process
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
Place requests with Project Coordinator (PC) Group for Partner Associates' engagements and vendor-provided items.
Coordinate and respond to client requests for changes in project scope.

Compensation:
Salary range $75,000 to $99,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
