The Spa Attendant greets clients and introduces the facilities and program components to individuals and groups. Furthermore, the attendant monitors the spa and fitness room for cleanliness, safety, and provides direction or instruction when appropriate.

What you will have an opportunity to do:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Greeting clients as they enter the Spa locker rooms.
2. Providing clients with tours and information related to the Spa locker room and its features.
3. Following daily checklist as detailed by the Spa Director.
4. Maintaining a well-groomed, professional appearance, which includes wearing a clean and
well-kept uniform, and nametag.
5. Reporting any accidents or injuries to the Spa Director.
6. Keeping locker rooms clean, orderly, and well stocked with necessary items.
7. Running dirty laundry to laundry and returning clean laundry to spa.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:



Responsible for checking spa guests in & out. Cash handling. Establishing forms of payment for services. Making reservations for massage. Closing books at the end of the business day. Needs to be knowledgeable of other departments services etc. Sales of spa merchandise. Attend to guests' needs accordingly by proving robes, drinks etc. Answering phones, selling and upselling while scheduling appointments and checking in guests Assist guests with their questions regarding spa services and fitness equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the spa and fitness center and stock guest supplies in the spa and locker room area.



QUALIFICATIONS:



High school diploma or equivalent. Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience. Cash handling experience required. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills. Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication skills Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner. Must present a well-groomed appearance as specified in the employee handbook and the department.



PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:



Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 10-hour shift). Able to handle several tasks at once. Able to lift heavy objects and maneuver towel bins in close quarters.

The Spa Attendant (female, BFOQ) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the spa/fitness area which includes the spa, locker rooms, fitness room, and pool area and spa desk, if applicable.
Responsibilities

* Ensures the "Arch Amenities Group Experience" for guests by maintaining the standards set in Arch Amenities Group Basics to Excellence (BTE), Arch Amenities Group Mission Statement/Values; Standards and Expectations, and Arch Amenities Group Brand Standards.
* Adheres to policies of Arch Amenities Group.
* Maintains the cleanliness and order of the facility to include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and taking out the trash.
* Restocks all linens in locker rooms and appropriate guest areas.
* Removes dirty laundry and collects dirty linens in guest areas and takes them to housekeeping area or laundry pick-up.
* Cleans and sanitizes all wet areas, bathrooms, and grooming areas throughout the day.
* Distributes and places linens in treatment rooms (as applicable), workout areas, closets, and dispensary (as applicable).
* Escorts members/guests to changing areas in a courteous and timely manner.
* Explains the set-up and workings of the locker rooms, bathroom, and shower to members/guests.

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
