With five luxurious treatment rooms, two treatment rooms for two, the Spa at Willows Lodge combines the best of the convenient resort amenities and serene spa atmosphere. Guests can indulge in a massage or treat themselves to a body treatment, then enjoy the resort's vibrant gardens and farm-to-table food.

What you will have an opportunity to do:
Job Summary
Serves as direct link with the spa guests and potential spa guests

Job ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome guests to the Spa.Checks guests in for their treatment.Troubleshoot and problem-solve guest customer problems, following established guidelines.Conduct cash transactions, counting and providing change as necessary.Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.Coordinate with massage therapists, estheticians, and nail techs for timing of treatments.Post transactions to guests' accounts.Stock supplies in the Spa.Inspect the Spa for cleanliness and appearance. Keep work area clean and organized.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Lodge and Spa services, products, and procedures.Provide information in response to guest inquiries about spa treatments and hotel services.Answer incoming telephone calls within first three rings.Make spa reservations and schedule therapists, estheticians, and nail techs accordingly.Perform spa check-out process and post final charges.Support, maintain, and participate in other duties as determined necessary by supervisor.

Weekend availability is a must.

What you'll do:

Welcome and assist our guests. We want our guests to know from the moment they step in the door we are delighted they've chosen GJ and we're here to make their experience great.
Support our artists so they have what they need to provide the best experience. We support them primarily by helping prepare clean linens and supplies used during services.
Promote a warm, clean environment for our guests to enjoy. We pride ourselves in keeping all areas of our salon, including our lobby, dressing rooms, retail shelves, and restrooms, clean for our guests from open to close.
Assist with replacement of retail stock and signage. You'll help with the organization and placement of our incoming shipments (with help!)
Engage with guests during check-out. We see check-out as more than just taking accurate payment, but also our last chance to connect with the guest, ensure they had a great time, and invite them to return.

What we need you to know before applying:

Open scheduling availability is a must. Many of our shifts are during evenings and weekends, and we are often busiest around the holidays.
This position involves a lot of being on your feet, whether that's standing or walking around. Accommodation may be available for those with disabilities.
We may need you to lift moderately heavy objects from time to time. We need you to be able to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Our Spa Coordinator works closely with the general manager and Spa Concierge, assists with duties as needed, is super organized and has an astute attention for detail--always making sure that everyone has marching orders for the day.


More specifically, our qualified spa coordinator:

• Opens the spa and ensures the ambiance, schedule and team are prepared and ready to provide our guests' with an exceptional experience
• Orchestrates the spa schedule and ensures proper guest flow
• Works closely with the therapists to ensure that each guest is comfortable and on-schedule for their treatments
• Answers the phone with a smile each and every time
• Provides personal attention from the time the guest walks though the door, helping them have a seamless experience
• Ensures a positive, consistent guest experience and strives to exceed our guests' expectations
• Checks out guests and performs close-out reports at the end of the day
• Rocks sales numbers by providing gift card and retail recommendations and sales
• Supports the general manager and serves as back up as needed
