What Does A Spa Manager Do At Massage Envy

* Overseeing and managing daily operations of the franchised location, ensuring that excellent service is consistently delivered to members and guests.
* Assisting franchise owner in setting and achieving membership and retail sales and profitability goals and partnering with franchise owner to regularly monitor progress against goals.
* Managing staff and training, monitoring, and coaching the performance of sales associates.
* Establishing and monitoring staff work schedules and managing human resource functions, where assigned, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluation, conducting staff meetings, resolving concerns and disputes, payroll processing, disciplining and terminating employees as well as all associated recordkeeping.
* Managing key business operations including inventory, bank deposits, marketing, etc.
* Maintaining a professional, clean, and safe environment for employees, members and guests, and developing a culture in the franchised location that embraces and reflects the Massage Envy brand’s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.

What Does A Spa Manager Do At Grand Sierra Resort and Casino

* _** _Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:_
* Believe and demonstrate the GSR Vision and Mission Statement.
* Direct and administer all Spa operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, product quality and innovation, merchandising and marketing/revenue generation, inventory management and cost controls, systems use and management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
* Develop and implement spa menus and marketing strategies
* Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to promote spa services to maximize overall revenue
* Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
* Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
* Recruit, interview and train team members
* Ensure team members have current knowledge of spa products, services, facilities, events and pricing and policies
* Resolve guest issues and concerns to guest satisfaction
* Participate in Spa Manager on Duty shifts.
* Oversee Spa POS system (Infogenesis) & Spa reservation system (Book4Time).
* Act as the liaison for communication between all Spa employees and Spa Management
