POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for tracking inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records and able to research any discrepancies. Display a strong understanding of the equipment he/she uses, the location of product, and the lay-out of the warehouse, slot location, lost sales, mispicks, pack size and all other applicable product information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
* Conducts review and appropriate research to verify if a credit is valid and provide disposition back to customer experience
* Collaborate with customer experience team on credit inquiries and other requests
* Perform shipping and receiving audits on-site and in retail stores as required
* Partners with local inventory control to review and process adjustments as needed
* Make accurate inventory adjustments in the system
* Collaborate with all stakeholders including but not limited to procurement, operations, customer care, inventory control on
inventory concerns
* Reconcile store returns and make necessary adjustments within the inventory system
* Identify and resolve all internal shrink concerns
* Update home slot quantities when removing product from the home slot
* Monitor all outside/offsite storage inventory
* Analyze and monitor velocity reports and seasonal promotions to ensure product is available for sale onsite
* Direct operations and offsite storage providers on inventory to pull and pick up
* Ensure proper rotation of product in outside storage and onsite/in house storage
* Manage Inventory Control projects that drive improvement of operations processes and/or other UNFI business area processes
* Performs other relevant job duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Understanding of Safety guidelines
* Strong knowledge of applicable Bakco functions and RF systems
* Understanding of applicable Bakco functions
* Understanding of all paperwork and reporting methods related to tracking inventory
* Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes
* Capability of being licensed in operating powered industrial equipment
* Strong communications skills; both written and oral applications
* Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
* Some travel may be required
* Ability to lift between 40-60 pounds daily and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
* Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation

Role Summary The Inventory Flow Controller ensures accurate and timely movement of materials and products across the supply chain.
This role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating material flows, and supporting production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet demand for all locations without excess stock.
Ensure accurate inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages.
Collaborate with Upstream, Downstream and Sub assembly teams to optimize material flow.
Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
Generate inventory performance reports and track KPIs.
Drive process improvements and support lean initiatives.
Who will you report to? You will report to the Up & Downstream - EMS Planning Leader.
This role is an onsite position.
You are required to report to either the Fairfield or West Chester, OH facility 5 days a week.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in inventory management or material planning.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.
).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
