As a Video Editor at SpaceX, you will take a lead role in enhancing the quality and impact of our video content. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apply color grading techniques to footage to enhance visual storytelling and ensure consistency and continuity of color throughout the entire project.
Work closely with project leads to bring a higher level of artistic and technical proficiency to the storytelling and video editing process.
Take charge of crafting video content showcasing the transformative impact of SpaceX on the future of space exploration while maintaining a professional and polished aesthetic.
Collaborate closely with Cinematographers, Producers, and other cross-functional teams, providing professional expertise to ensure cohesive storytelling to elevate the overall production value.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of experience as a video editor.
Experience working for global clients and brands.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

SECURITY PROTECTIVE OPERATIONS CENTER OPERATOR
SpaceX is looking for experienced operators for its SpaceX Protective Operations Center (SPOC), its global 24/7 monitoring and incident response coordination center. The selected candidate will be a dedicated security professional with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced high-tech environment. As a SPOC Operator, you will coordinate day-to-day and incident response logistics, while providing support to security officers. SPOC operators will also act as a point-of-contact for matters relating to each area facility and, as such, must coordinate closely with all operational, management, and administrative sections for area office. Areas of responsibility include: event/incident monitoring, camera/security alarm monitoring, video review, dispatching, coordinating allocation of resources, and incident response management and communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigate incidents thoroughly, coordinate information gathering with responding security personnel, and create accurate and timely incident reports
Notifying and coordinating with onsite first responders, stake holders and local law enforcement during any incident/emergency
Monitor, analyze, and report on daily global incidents that may impact SpaceX employees or offices, and escalate accordingly to security management, and subsequently to other key stake holders within the company

Assist with video surveillance system reviews for key stake holders and internal investigations

As part of the SpaceX Environmental Health & Safety team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical EHS support to a wide array of launch vehicle manufacturing teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install air monitoring devices and associated PLC hardware integration
Calibrate and service a wide array of EHS instrumentation

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN
The Environmental Technician is responsible for implementing and maintaining regulatory requirements relating to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). In this role you will work with engineers and technicians daily to ensure that our manufacturing campus and west coast recovery operations can support SpaceX goals while meeting all environmental objectives and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure environmental compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to EPA, RCRA, CUPA and DOT
Perform tasks related to RCRA regulatory hazardous waste handling, storage and disposal requirements:
Monitor and manage levels of hazardous waste at each department's satellite accumulation area
Perform waste removal activities, and waste determinations of new waste streams in partnership with the EHS team and work centers
Ensure all waste is properly labeled, and properly stored, according to its classification
Accurately record and maintain 90-day hazardous waste inventory logs
Perform all required hazardous waste and hazardous material storage area inspections
Schedule, prepare, and assist in the execution of waste shipments in partnership with the SpaceX Environmental team and waste disposal contractor
Consolidate and Lab pack waste when appropriate
Perform tasks related to spill response and prevention, including clean up and/or the coordination of cleaning activities with a third party
Implement the Spill Prevention Countermeasures and Control Plan (SPCC) throughout the Hawthorne facility
Order and maintain adequate supplies such as spill response materials, containers and consumables for waste management, and other equipment necessary to maintain proper disposal of hazardous waste and to support environmental compliance programs
Perform compliance and due diligence audits in support of SpaceX environmental programs
Manage hazardous materials and ensure all hazardous materials are labeled and stored properly in the storage areas
Perform regular inspections such as hazardous waste accumulation and storage, universal waste storage, emergency eye wash/shower, SPCC, stormwater, industrial waste water
Support waste minimization activities, risk reduction, and process improvement initiatives under direction of the SpaceX Environmental team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
