This position's primary function is to take responsibility for post-sale tasks, administrative requirements, reports, filings, status updates, etc., and assist with workflow to facilitate the delivery of products and services to customers and clients after a sale has been made. The Exhibition Operations Associate is responsible for coordinating the flow of information to other departments and keeping pertinent sections of the Space Foundation website up to date. RESPONSIBILITIES: The following briefly describes representative responsibilities of this job, but it is not intended to be a complete or all-inclusive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this position: * The Exhibition Operations Associate works proactively to support the varying needs of the team. They help prepare and send sales literature, sponsor/exhibitor updates, correspondence, and any documents to secure new accounts or enhance current ones. They answer telephone and email inquiries regarding all products and services offered by the Strategic Partnership team. * As an integral part of day-to-day business, the Exhibition Operations Associate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, including answering phones, updating website information, typing sales letters, reports, and proposals, and maintaining sales-related records and progress reports. As needed, they will update and enter data about customers or prospects into our database. * Prior to and during the Space Symposium, the Exhibition Operations Associate will answer emails and calls from exhibitors and take primary responsibility for ensuring that exhibitors understand how to register their booth personnel and visitors and upload their logo and company description to the MapYourShow dashboard. They will also assist the team with all aspects of the trade show move-in and move-out, such as exhibit hall set-up, security, freight, and drayage. * May perform other duties as assigned.
