Informs of any drug treatments as appropriate. Notifies the Nurse immediately of any death producing arrhythmias and documents findings. May receive emergent and non-emergent medical telephone calls from internal and external contacts. Ensures equal distribution of arriving patients by team in the ED. Maintains accurate, legible dispatch records for the department. Makes transfer arrangements with appropriate EMS transport agency for ED patients needing to be transferred. Directs responding ambulance crews to the appropriate area of the ED for patient transfer. Records the office visits via electronic templates on behalf of physician. Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive work environment. Assist with ordering labs and medications. Qualifications: Must type at least 60 wpm with accuracy. Previous scribe or transcription experience preferred. Must be proficient with computers. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Previous clinical experience preferred. A working knowledge of electronic medical records preferred. Reliable transportation is a MUST! Willing/able to travel to all GI locations (Provo, Spanish Fork, American Fork) Hours: This will be a part-time position in our American Fork office, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

    The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring Supervisors for sports programs and concessions. This is a part-time, non-benefited position responsible for supervising concessions or youth and adult sports (including basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball, cornhole, or football). The supervisor is responsible for all leadership duties before, during, and after a shift, relating to participants, spectators, staff, and facility management. The supervisor will resolve problems and conflicts that may be confrontational or stressful and respond quickly in the event of an injury, or unruly behavior. The Supervisor will be responsible for setting up program and concessions equipment (including help with minimal prep and cleaning of the facility), stocking concessions, cash handling, food prep and safety, starting games, keeping score, and officiating games if necessary. They must exhibit and emphasize teamwork, customer service, and sportsmanship. Supervisors will also be responsible for keeping data, inventory, and other required reports and information. Perform other duties as assigned. Must possess strong leadership, customer service, conflict management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate, and work well in teams to accomplish a common goal and manage teams to delegate tasks. Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, patrons, or guests at all times. Remain eager to learn and grow, while maintaining proper knowledge of sport rules, scorekeeping and officiating for various sports, and department policies Must be able to move and interact with others in various activities that may include bending, stooping, walking, and lifting to 75 pounds. Knowledge of cash handling, food preparation, and food safety. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. Varying shifts available on weekdays from 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Mondays through Fridays and Saturdays/Sundays from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
