All core academic teachers* assigned to teach English learners are required to earn the SEI endorsement. The Foreign Language Teacher is a highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Foreign Language Teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students' individual needs. Job Responsibilities:
This project based/contract role will report to the Social Studies Curriculum Manager and will create materials for UWorld question banks, curriculum products, and participate in product development.
Generate classroom activities that reflect existing AP blueprint standards
Revise and provide constructive feedback on content written by other authors
Validate accuracy and relevance of content generated with other team members
Work with other content experts to identify topics for new product development
Assist other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
Minimum Experience Required:
Experience teaching AP European History is required
3+ years of Social Studies teaching or curriculum writing experience
Experience teaching any of the following AP courses is a plus: Human Geography, World History, US History, or US Government
Strong knowledge of AP course frameworks
