Position Overview
The
Membership and Communications Coordinator
will play a key role in supporting our growing organization. This position will assist with member relations, customer service, database maintenance, communications, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Core Responsibilities Member Communication and Resources
Respond to general email inquiries or forward them appropriately.
Build, review, and schedule communications via Mailchimp.
Maintain and clean mailing lists and groups in Mailchimp and our Novi database.
Create, upload, and manage resources on SPARC Connect, our members-only online community platform.
Organize events through Novi, Zoom, and YouTube
Manage billing, invoicing, and overdue follow-ups in Novi and QuickBooks Online.
Assist in updating and sending transactional emails.
Website/Database Maintenance
Maintain and update records in Novi.
Update website pages and content as needed.
Generate and upload custom reports as needed.
Administrative Support
Organize files in Google Shared Drives and Novi.
Assist with national conference planning and logistics.
Assist with regional, in-person events and logistics.
Assist in preparing surveys and compiling resulting reports.
Coordinate schedules and make travel arrangements for Senior Advisors.
Upload leadership search details to SPARC's career site.
Support HR functions as needed, including onboarding, managing paperwork, and PTO management.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively and professionally communicate with a variety of stakeholders.

The PCS/Nursing Aide is an integral member of the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) who provides direct, hands-on assistance and support to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who also experience co-occurring physical health needs impacting their daily functioning. This position focuses on enhancing independence, supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), and ensuring clients maintain safety, stability, and quality of life within their home and community settings.
The PCS/ Nursing Aide actively collaborates with the multidisciplinary ACTT team, participates in team meetings, and ensures that services are person-centered, recovery-oriented, and compliant with Medicaid and state guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on assistance with qualifying ADLs, including bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and eating.
Deliver set-up, cueing, prompting, and supervision when providing assistance with ADLs.
Assist with home management Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) when directly related to qualifying ADLs and essential for the individuals care at home.
Support clients with medication self-administration when linked to a documented medical condition or cognitive/physical impairment, per NC regulations.
Assist with adaptive/assistive devices and durable medical equipment related to qualifying ADLs.
