Demonstrates knowledge of normal vital sign parameters and is to variances from normal patient appearances. Promptly reports pertinent findings to licensed professional nurse. * Includes patient and family input as appropriate while providing assistance with ADL and other basic care needs. Assures patient's privacy and comfort while providing care. Answers call lights promptly, follow through with patient needs. * Washes hands when entering and leaving patient's room and demonstrates proper infection control measures at all times. Follows universal precautions. * Maintain patient safety. Reports unsafe or hazardous conditions promptly. Uses equipment correctly including proper cleaning and storage.
