Job Requirements SIGN ON BONUS $10,000.00 Eligible Experienced RN We are hiring a RegisteredNurse to join our Recovery Room team! * Full-Time; 0930 - 2200 The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is located on the 2nd floor of Spartanburg Medical Center next to the Operating Room. The main recovery area has 26 beds (all monitored and includes 2 isolation rooms). The population served is all patients who have had surgery or been anesthetized except CABG and neonatal patients. (Out of OR cases include: endoscopy, MRI, Laser Lead Extractions, blood patch, TEE, Cardioversion, CT, and IR cases). This department goals are the following:
* To Meet and sustain Core Measures
* Educate and transition nursing and medical staff to usage of protocols for better patient outcomes and perioperative throughput
* Facilitate teamwork amongst all perioperative areas
The Acute Care RegisteredNurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The RN demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. The RN demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for support associates. The RN will collaborate with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's culture, Mission, Vision, and Values. Associates are encouraged to engage and support Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's involvement in the communities we serve.
Minimum Requirements
Education
* Graduate of an approved / accredited School of Nursing
License/Registration/Certifications
* Current RN licensure in the State of South Carolina or Compact State
* BLS - may secure certification post-hire

Job Requirements The Student Nurse Intern (SNI) program is a paid internship giving nursing students the opportunity to work under the direction of the RN in providing care to patients. The Student Nurse Intern will have the opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills in providing patient care as a Student Nursing Associate. The Student Nurse Intern is also paired with an experienced RN to provide mentorship and shadowing opportunities.
The Student Nurse Intern is responsible for patient care activities, unit clerical duties, computerized order entry procedures, and other unit activities, as applicable. The SNA must be able to provide and understand the specific communication needs of patients, families, and visitors.
