As President and CEO of SpartanNash, Inc., I lead a this storied company and its 19,000 associates in the exciting and evolving food distribution and grocery retail industries.

Prior to SpartanNash, I was the CEO of Borden Dairy Company, Inc., where I led an organization of 3,300 associates in the industry's most iconic heritage brand. Prior to joining Borden in 2018, I was CEO of Ready Pac Foods for four years. From 2010 to 2013 I was president of Nestlé USA Direct Store Delivery Company, which serves Nestlé’s frozen pizza and ice cream businesses. In 2006, I joined Dreyer’s as Executive Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain, where I was responsible for manufacturing, procurement and supply chain. I later served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations with responsibility for sales, manufacturing, and distribution.

Before Dreyer’s, I spent 20 years with PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay business. I joined Frito-Lay as an associate engineer and progressed through a series of significant leadership roles including Plant Manager, Director of Finance, and Region Vice President for Sales and Distribution in the West.

I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master of Science degree in Management from Stanford.

Masiar Tayebi are an Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at SpartanNash Co and are based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have worked as CTO Asset Management Americas at UBS, Manager - Financial Services Practice at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), and Management Consultant - Financial Services Practice at Andersen Business Consulting. Masiar attended University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 2008 and 2013 and Bentley University between 1997 and 2001.

Arif Dar is a SVP and CIO at SpartanNash Co and Member, Board Of Advisers at GAVS Technologies and is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has experience at General Electric (GE) and Tyco (US) Holdings Inc and has worked as Executive at Bombardier; Chief Information Officer at S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc.; and Information Officer (CIO) - Global HR at GENERAL MOTORS CO. Arif studied at King's College London, U. of London, United Kingdom between 1992 and 1993; University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan between 1988 and 1992; and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, USA between 2015 and 2015.

Jason Monaco is an EVP and CFO at SpartanNash Co and is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has worked as Sr. Financial Analyst at Kimberly-Clark Health Care, VP Treasurer at ARROW ELECTRONICS INC, and VP Finance & CFO Latin America at Kimberly-Clark. Jason studied at Emory University Goizueta Business School between 2004 and 2005, American University between 1996 and 1996, and Knox College between 1994 and 1998.

Dave Petko was named Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer in April 2021, overseeing all aspects of SpartanNash’s supply chain, which serves company-owned stores, independent retailers and national accounts throughout the United States, as well as U.S. military commissaries around the world. His responsibilities include driving efficiencies and cost savings throughout supply chain and distribution operations, in addition to growing SpartanNash’s network and strengthening relationships with suppliers.

Dave previously served as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain for C&S Wholesale Grocers, driving operational efficiencies, safety, associate engagement, customer focus and innovative problem solving throughout the supply chain. During his 11-year tenure with C&W Wholesale Grocers, he also served as Regional Vice President of Operations (2014-2019), Senior Director ES3/D2S (2013-2014), Director of Operations (2012-2013) and General Manager of two facilities (2009-2012). Dave has 25 years of supply chain and distribution logistics experience in addition to a proven track record of transformational leadership and improved customer and associate satisfaction.
