What You Will Do and Learn We are looking for a NetSuite Architect in our Finance & Operations Practice. This role will be responsible for leading NetSuite client delivery engagements as our NetSuite expert, supporting sales efforts from a technical side for new clients and expands of existing clients, and building and coaching our NetSuite team. This team member would also be responsible for authoring thought leadership and driving best practices for our NetSuite portfolio. Working with the Finance & Operations practice leadership, you will contribute to projects that are able to identify and implement ways to help our clients find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses utilizing the technology as a driver. In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to: Lead NetSuite client engagements, serving NetSuite technical expert for configuration, process design, support escalation, and Q&A Use past experience and expertise to advise on client business processes including financial close, transactional reporting, integrated financial statements, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and other similar processes. In addition, ideal candidate should have Revenue-specific NetSuite skills, including experience with Revenue Recognition, billing, Advanced Revenue Management, SuiteBilling and/or related processes. Bring a business and process-oriented mindset to technology implementation. The ideal candidate should have significant experience with NetSuite and finance and accounting-related projects Build and coach our NetSuite team with a focus on client success. This will include working with a diverse team of consultants and architects Bring best practices to the table for NetSuite implementations Use past experience to advise on NetSuite integrations, including integration of NetSuite and Salesforce and the related business processes around this Provide technical sales support for new client sales as well as existing client expands. Support client demos and proof-of-concept projects for clients evaluating various technologies Provide NetSuite thought leadership by writing articles, blogs, and potentially delivering presentations at user conferences Lead project teams supporting multiple workstreams consisting of client-side personnel and Spaulding Ridge consultants while adhering to Spaulding Ridge's delivery methodology and project standards. In many cases, these projects will include NetSuite and other technology Approach problems creatively and apply technology to solve business challenges Improve and develop our standing as a NetSuite partner Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business preferred or relevant professional experience Experience managing other delivery team members Minimum 8 years of total experience, preferably in accounting and software consulting, or supporting software consulting and implementation. 5+ years of experience with NetSuite with demonstrated experience in 5+ end-to-end deployments of NetSuite NetSuite Foundations or NetSuite ERP certification is a preferred Demonstrated experience in translating customer business needs into dynamic solutions provide best in class value for our clients Experience in change management and business process mapping in support or in conjunction with a major software implementation is a plus Travel varies significantly, however someone taking on this position should be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time We take care of you!
