As a Special Education Teacher, you'll lead the instructional process for Elementary School students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), designing dynamic and personalized learning experiences within the learning center and/or classroom. What You'll Do
As our Academic Assistant in the Division of Humanities and The Arts, you'll be the go-to resource for faculty, students, and visitors, keeping our offices organized, helping plan and promote exciting events, and supporting talented colleagues across multiple departments. Your attention to detail and warm personality will help foster a welcoming, efficient environment where everyone can thrive.
Welcome and assist students, faculty, and guests. Be the helpful “face” of the departments.
Coordinate schedules, events, and communications, ensuring everyone stays informed and connected.
Support faculty with administrative tasks and purchasing.
Supervise and mentor student office workers.
Keep office supplies stocked and organized.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent).
Demonstrated proficiency with standard word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Suite or Microsoft Office).
Factors Contributing to Success
At least two years' experience in an administrative, office manager, or similar role, academic environment a plus!
Tech savvy with Google Suite / Microsoft Office, Canva or basic web design tools.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Confidence juggling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Experience working with varied groups and maintaining confidentiality.
