To this end, KIPP Durham Middle School staff receive a salary boost to compensate for an increase in hours and responsibilities to their roles that are different from similar roles in the KIPP North Carolina Public School Network. For the 25 - 26 school year, the following will be required of all KIPP Durham Middle School instructional staff: School Work Hours 7:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 7:30 - 3:45pm Fridays Outside of work hour requirements: Providing Saturday School for students who are in need and when asked by school leadership, and providing Summer Academy for students during instructional staffs' summer break. Curriculum, materials, and resources are provided Each month teachers have Teacher Work Days that include professional development, data analysis, and other important information to push their students' learning forward
