What to expect from this role:
Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.
Provide specialized instruction for students who are visually impaired.
Conduct functional vision assessments and learning media assessments.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
Consult with parents, offering resources and support for their child's visual impairment.
Utilize assistive technology to enhance learning and accessibility.
Foster strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and activities.
Perform all other duties related to special education as required
