Vacancy Announcement: St. Regis Schools has openings for SpecialEducationTeacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position involves curriculum and lesson planning, and implementation of specialeducation programs and teaching methods, delivering content instruction, working with students in one-to-one and small group settings, and managing paraprofessionals; assists in development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); attends and participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, IEP meetings, and other meetings as required; monitors students' progress in and outside specialeducation room; evaluates student progress based on work output and observation, determines goals, objectives, and directions; works closely with other teachers to implement modifications and accommodations. Pay is dependent on the applicant's experience. Benefits are included. Technology is used throughout the school with iPads, Smart Boards, desktop and laptop computers. Internet access is available to staff as well as students.
Academic Qualifications:
The qualified applicant needs to have or be in the process of completing his or her Montana Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Elementary Education preferred. A reading endorsement is highly recommended and a strong background in math is encouraged.
