JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for delivering high-quality education while also guiding and mentoring On-the-Job Training (OJT) students. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment for all students and providing practical training and support to OJT participants as they develop their skills in an educational setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to):
1. Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet state standards and the school's curriculum for regular students.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation, respect, and collaboration among all students, including OJT participants.
3. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and observations while providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
4. Develop and adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse learning needs of both regular students and OJT participants, including differentiation strategies.
5. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and faculty about progress, classroom activities, and expectations for both traditional students and OJT trainees.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to improve educational practices, share resources, and enhance the learning experience for all students.
7.Perform duties as assigned by the Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Valid teaching certification.
3. Experience in mentoring or overseeing OJT programs is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of subject matter and contemporary educational practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
7. Proficiency in technology for teaching and classroom management.
8. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

To remain active as a Long-Term Substitute for You Thrive Florida, the Long-Term Substitute must work a minimum of 250 hours every half year. Half year is defined as July 1st through December 31st and January 1st through June 30th each year the Long-Term Substitute is active. All Teams Day and Pre-Service hours are not inclusive to minimum hours worked. Failure to meet this requirement may result in you being removed from the active substitute role.

Licenses & Certifications: Valid Florida driver's license and be insurable by Company's current insurance carrier. Subject to federal, state and local legal requirements/background checks.

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for delivering high-quality education while also guiding and mentoring On-the-Job Training (OJT) students. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment for all students and providing practical training and support to OJT participants as they develop their skills in an educational setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to):
1. Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet state standards and the school's curriculum for regular students.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation, respect, and collaboration among all students, including OJT participants.
3. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and observations while providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
4. Develop and adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse learning needs of both regular students and OJT participants, including differentiation strategies.
5. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and faculty about progress, classroom activities, and expectations for both traditional students and OJT trainees.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to improve educational practices, share resources, and enhance the learning experience for all students.
7.Perform duties as assigned by the Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Valid teaching certification.
3. Experience in mentoring or overseeing OJT programs is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of subject matter and contemporary educational practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
