This individual will be responsible for all aspects of University's maintenance grounds equipment, including Facilities Management golf carts. Responsible for the repair and servicing of all grounds maintenance equipment, including golf carts, mowers, trucks, tractors, snow plows, blowers, sweepers, vacs, and loaders. Responsible for maintaining inventory of all supplies, tools and parts needed for all equipment maintenance service work and repairs and maintain equipment maintenance records for servicing and repairs. Responsible for the operation of some mechanized equipment assigned to the department when necessary. Performs labor-related duties as needed or required for essential operations and staff vacancies and all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Associate Director, and Hardscape & amp; Equipment Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 plus years' experience servicing and diagnosing small and heavy equipment in a
commercial setting.
- 10 plus years' experience operating trucks, loaders, heavy equipment, forklifts, and
snow plows.
- Prior experience servicing commercial snow removal equipment, including plows,
spreaders, loaders, brooms, and snow blowers
- A valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points.
- 10 plus years' experience in commercial grounds maintenance.
- 10 plus years' experience ordering parts and maintaining inventory of supplies, tools
and parts and equipment maintenance records for servicing and repairs on equipment.
- Prior stick and MIG welding experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Small engine repair certification or diagnostics training.

Audio Technician
An experienced audio-visual technician with proficient abilities in the latest audio and production technologies. An Audio Technician will possess the ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot audio equipment in temporary live event environments. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Performs work from aerial devices to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment.

Position Responsibilities

Ensure equipment is functional, safely and professionally presented, and that client is familiar or comfortable with the operation of any equipment they are utilizing.

Requirements

Execute on all technical aspects of a production. Work with lead technicians and PAV production managers interfacing directly with equipment, stagehands, and contract labor for events to ensure proper implementation of good and services through the production process.

An audio-visual lead technician will possess the ability to design, install and operate audio, video, or lighting equipment in temporary live event environment. A lead technician will also provide leadership and management of audio-visual technicians. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include, but are not limited to…)
Serve as lead technician in variety of roles and disciplines with primary audio, video or lighting focus.
Provide support for editing and creative responsibilities.
Work with a PAV Production Manager to implement the technical aspects of a show related to assigned lead role, set up, supervise, and operate related AV equipment.
Attend site checks as required
Attend all meetings / conference calls required for event, to ensure all details are captured
Relay details (financial, creative, & logistic wants/needs) to Director of Productions to determine best way to propose design and quote for event
Maintain timeline for production to ensure event planning stays on schedule
Work with Warehouse Staff to ensure assets required for event are available or In the event that assets are not available, source sub-rentals and coordinate delivery/pick up
Work with Project Managers and other event staff for efficient Run of Show
Ability to work across a variety of event formats from breakouts, general sessions, and tradeshow environments
Responsible for obtaining media from Project Manager or client for event playback or display
Work with Facility Event Managers or PAV CAD tech to obtain detail drawings of event per client specifications. Have prints approved by venue to ensure they are within fire code

Job Description
JOB TITLE: AV Technician
Reports To: Business Logistics Manager/Director Operations/Venue Leadership
FLSA Status: Full-Time: Hourly Non-exempt

Execute on all technical aspects of a production. Work with lead technicians and PAV production managers interfacing directly with equipment, stagehands, and contract labor for events to ensure proper implementation of good and services through the production process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include, but are not limited to…)
Serve as a technician in variety of roles and disciplines. (technician, audio, video, lighting)
Work with a PAV Production Manager and/or PAV Lead Technician to implement the technical aspects of a show related to assigned role, set up, and operate related AV equipment.
Attend site checks as required
Relay details (financial, creative, & logistic wants/needs) to Venues Director of AV Services/Venues Sales and Account Managers as they change to assist with maintaining an accurate order and bill for clients and venues and overall client satisfaction
Execute on the timeline for production to ensure event planning stays on schedule
Work with Warehouse staff to ensure assets required for event are available in the event that assets are not available, work with project manager and/or Venue TD to pickup/return sub-rentals.
Work with Project Managers, TD, and other event staff for efficient Run of Show
Maintain working knowledge of all aspects of event for smooth transition to persons assigned to roles (Lead Technicians: General Session, Plenary, Breakout, Exhibits, etc.)
Responsible for playing or recording media for Project Manager or client for event display or to transfer media to PAV production manager to deliver to client
Work with Facility Event Managers or PAV CAD tech to understand the detailed drawings of event per client specifications.
