SUMMARY

Valet Park of America is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and energetic individual to be responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing valet parking and shuttle services for private events.

This is a full-time position located in our corporate office in Springfield, MA. The hours will be Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm (other hours, including parent's hours, can be discussed), and some weekend hours may be required in busy times. Candidate must have their own transportation.

This is a position that will require extensive communication with potential clients, event planners, and current clients planning weddings, and private events at their homes or off-site venues that are considering our services. Professionalism and attention to detail, while treating each event with the utmost importance are all essential to this position.

A large portion of this position will involve coordinating travel arrangements with clients hiring our shuttle and parking service, preparing directions, scheduling staff, etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales and planning of private transportation services and valet parking services for private events
  • Attend trade shows and events to showcase our service as needed
  • Work closely with sales and marketing team to achieve goals
  • Communication for staffing and site visits if needed with regional managers on any private event in their location.
  • Generate leads and drive sales
  • Answering sales calls for new and existing clients and coordinating their services
  • Complete Special Projects as assigned by the Director of Special Events
  • Ideas and insight for social media posts to promote special event services
  • Assist with Marketing and Sales Materials as needed
  • Assist in other areas as needed

Eliada Homes, Inc. is seeking a Special Events & Advancement Services Coordinator whose employment will directly and indirectly impact the lives and needs of our students, their families, and our community. This position will coordinate with the Development Director, development department and other Eliada staff, administration, and volunteers to plan, coordinate, and evaluate special events to meet specified fundraising goals; solicit donations and/or sponsorships for special events; ensure optimal attendance; generate community involvement. This position is also responsible for gift input and related functions, database management, and administrative support of stewardship activities.

Requirements:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, manage, and execute all special events for Eliada Homes, Inc.
  • Ensure optimal attendance for all special events via a complete schedule of publicity.
  • Secure, hire, manage, negotiate and arrange contracts for artists, entertainers, lecturers, vendors, etc. as needed for special events.
  • Hire, manage and supervise special event temporary staff.
  • Maximize special event sponsorship contributions through the cultivation of both new and existing relationships.
  • Cultivate, solicit and steward unrestricted and restricted cash gifts and in-kind gifts from businesses.
  • Maintain Eliada's donor database with integrity, and according to industry best practices and standard compliance with non-profit regulations.
  • Database management including, but not limited to gift input and acknowledgement letters, setting up new constituents, maintaining accurate constituent contact information, entering donor/prospect notes, pulling queries and reports, and monitoring and analyzing fundraising metrics.
  • Provide administrative support of Eliada's stewardship activities through the assignment of donors to be contacted by staff, entering results of contacts and other stewardship touches.



Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of fundraising experience is required. Direct experience with event planning, marketing, and social media is required. Well-organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines and projects. Knowledge in data base management (Raiser's Edge preferred) required.
