Do you like to travel and work at Special Events, but don't want to be “on the road” for months on end?

Are you an organized, problem solver with a positive attitude, who likes to see the results of your work?

Do you have experiential or show car activation experience, and want the benefits of full-time employment versus those of a contractor?

If this is you, consider this role setting up and driving for our experiential marketing activities with AAA.
You will:
Manage the show car display & transportation, providing on-site operational support for local and out of state events Some travel required Maintain vehicle maintenance, registration and administrative files; including vendor and special event files Work independently in the absence of management and provide supervisory support during events Demonstrate internal and external customer service Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by resident state preferred3-5 years experiential event experience preferred, show car vehicle management is a plus CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Training/Certification preferred Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards required along with minimum limits of automobile liability insurance Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations Great communication skills and Microsoft Office experience Ability to work independently and/or as a team member High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification Availability to work a 40-hour work week, including potential non-standard business hours; including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to lift/carry hand freight weighing up to 100 pounds several times a week Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck Ability to follow instructions and complete required training

CORT Party Rental has been the premier event rental company in Washington State for 50 years. We provide everything from tenting, flooring, seating, linens, lighting, flatware, and more in order to turn any event into a memorable celebration.

The perfect candidates are those who aren't afraid to tackle furniture and get excited about helping families and creating an extraordinary customer experience.

We are hiring for both of the following shifts. Please identify which shift you are interested in when applying.
M-F 12:00 PM-8:30 PM
M-F 7am-3:30pm
Pay rate is $17- 17.50 per hour, depending on experience.

A Day in the Life:


Complete monthly inventory control count of product in warehouse.
Stage product (furniture) for loading.
Assist in the loading of the product.
Return product to system and rack following pickup.
Clean and repair furniture as needed to ensure quality product.


You re a Top Contender if You Have:


A High School diploma or equivalent or 1 plus years of experience without a diploma
The ability to speak, read and write English
Reliable transportation
Previous warehouse experience
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
